Pants are very nice. We placed a second order for them to be used as school uniform pants. Our son is 12 years old, stands at 5 feet tall, and is slim. We got a size 16 in our order. These pants were a little loose around the waist, but the adjustment tabs came in handy, and they'll be fine; we'll have to tighten the legs a little, but that's fine with me. He should grow into his clothes rather than out of them, in my opinion.
Most pants are too baggy and big in the waist for him because he is slim, so it's nice that these pants have an adjustable waist band. They are also very durable and will last through many washes. I've placed an order for at least five pairs of these pants. The inside front pockets, which my son uses to carry his keys and change, are the first to show signs of wear. This is after wearing and washing them numerous times. I had to sew the hole in the pockets back together so he could wear them again. I would recommend these pants to any young adult or boy because they look great as a dress pant but also work well as a work pant.
To begin with, my son is not overweight. He is a tall ten-year-old, and size 10 pants fit him well in other situations. We went up to a size 12, and while the length was ideal, the waist was too tight, and he couldn't get his hands into the pockets. The 12 was replaced with a 14. The waist was comfortable, but the length was about 4 inches too long. They are a favorite of my son's. I'm going to hem them a little bit. They would have been a good fit if they had a size 12 husky, but they couldn't find a size 12 husky with the double knee.
The pants appeared to be in good condition; however, they were too large for my son. I received a scan code for my phone when I attempted to return them. I won't be returning them, and whoever will will be leaving them with coworkers, so the phone scan won't be an option for me. I only need a standard return label, but I can't seem to find anyone who can assist me. I'm afraid I'll be stuck with a pair of pants I'll never wear and will have wasted my money! So, if you think you might need to return something, be cautious when ordering from them.
For my son's uniform pants, I like how durable the fabric is. My only wish is for the reinforced knees to be reinforced from the inside rather than the outside, and my son does not like the side pocket. The visible patches on the knees, as well as the side pocket, make the pants unsuitable for uniform requirements. But we really need this kind of toughness to take what a boy throws at us!.
Because my son's pants always have holes in the knees, I sought out pants with reinforced knees. These are exactly what he was looking for! I'm overjoyed that I discovered them. The extra money will be well worth it to avoid having to buy new pants every few months.
The bottom of this pant, from the knee down, is disproportionately large in comparison to the upper portion. This morning, my son said to me, "Mom, my pants look like the roblox pant. " I was devastated and wished we could have returned it before he wore it. It just looks weird on him, and he wears a regular size 10 boy's pant. Another issue is that the pant material picks up other materials, making it difficult to remove.
For the past five years, I've purchased Dickie's uniform pants for my boys. They are the best brand for durability in my experience, as other brands develop a hole in the knee area after a short period of time. My boys' waists are small, so the pants are slightly large, but the waist can be adjusted.
