Selected User Reviews For CLASSROOM Boys' Uniform Flat Front Pant with Adjustable Waist
My son is on the skinny side, and these fit him better than the name brand uniform pants that we were supposed to buy. He's also quite tall, so these are ideal because they have a large hem that's clearly intended to allow you to adjust the length. They were his only uniform pants that fit him well for a while (others were too small or too big), so I washed them every day for a while, and they've held up admirably to 7 months of frequent washings. Both black and navy blue are present in my wardrobe, and the colors remain vibrant. Shrinkage is minimal to none.
After failing to find a pair that fit properly and needing pants for a concert, I was relieved to find these. I ordered a size 12 for a 10-year-old who is thin and of average height. They were a tad long, but they worked well with canvas shoes (such as Vans). They were slightly large in the waist but had adjustable waist straps, so when we tightened them, they bunched up at the waist but were covered by a belt; however, they still looked good and fit - All of the others we tried didn't seem to work. And there's plenty of room for him to expand in them.
I ordered two pairs of these pants in my son's usual size 12, and they arrived quickly. Even though they are the same size, one pair is too small in the waist and the other is too short; the husky fit size chart only shows big boy sizes, but the regular fit size chart would be helpful. I ordered two more pairs in a larger size to see how they fit. My son's school requires Classroom, but these do not fit as well as the ones I ordered from the school's uniform store. Overall, I'm glad I was able to find these for half the price of what the uniform store charges. I'll just keep in mind that I might have to order several sizes before finding one that fits.
The fact that the waist can be adjusted is a plus.
The fabric attracts a lot of lint, so the pants aren't ideal.
My son only wears this pair of slacks. They fit perfectly (18) and are extremely durable. He is a slim 5"6" man. I bought him a size 20 once, but they're too big for him now that he's outgrown them. As a result, you should be aware that they do not come in small sizes.
I am very happy with my purchase for the price. My 5-year-old, who is starting kindergarten, was a perfect fit in size 6. I'll buy it again when I need a larger size.
These slacks leave a lot to be desired. I had to return them because they were too small and short for the size.
