The elastic on the skirt isn't of the "binding" variety. So, yes, I believe that is the case. I'm an 8/10, and my friend is a 14/16, and we both tried it on and it fit perfectly. I'm not particularly tall - I'm only 5'4". She isn't quite 5', but she is 5'6". As a result, I wear my waist higher, and she wears hers about 4 inches above the knee (though it can be pulled a little lower below waist depending on the look you want). I hope this information is useful.
This is something I believe she would enjoy. To be honest, I bought this for my dog so that she could be a flower girl at my wedding. It's one of my favorites because the waistband isn't too tight. The skirt's lining is satin or a similar material, making it very smooth and comfortable to wear.
Because it's just a simple elastic waist band, it can be worn below the belly button, but I'm not sure if it will rise as you move.

First and foremost, it is intended for a woman or a teen. I'm a size 12 and it barely fit over my hips (and I'm not even close to being a hippy, nor is my butt!). The sizing is all wrong on this. I could've dealt with it, though, because I was able to pull it up eventually. The smell was even worse than the size of this tutu. THE SMELL, OF COURSE! I can't tell you how bad it smelled, but it was clear that the manufacturer or whoever sent it was aware of it because there was a small scented sachet inside the bag with the tutu. Unfortunately, it was ineffective because the tutu continued to stink! The time for me to return had passed by by the time I returned from my vacation where I was going to wear the tutu, so I'm stuck with a stinky tutu that doesn't fit. What a colossal financial blunder!.
They were a hit with us. We're all between the ages of 130 and 150 pounds. 175 The heights of the participants ranged from 5'3" to 6'1". 5'8". I have a lot of stomach pooch from losing a lot of weight, but it still fits perfectly. It was fluffy, a little sheer, and short, but it did the job for us. I was able to store it in a gallon-sized ziploc bag after washing it on the delicate cycle.
Adults should avoid using this product. Because the reviews and product description stated that it would fit up to size 16, I was extremely disappointed. I purchased the hot pink 5 layer for my mother and myself in preparation for a breast cancer race. The tutu is 11" wide when laid flat, and only 17" wide when stretched tight. I'm a size 6 and it was too small for me, so I knew it wouldn't fit my mother, who is a size 10. I got back to you right away. It's possible that some colors work better than others, but this one is too small.
br>br>There is also an opaque pink inner skirt, which is good in theory and keeps the tutu from being see-through. The inner skirt, on the other hand, is far too tight and prevents your legs from moving freely. You'll feel hemmed in if you try to do anything other than walk in these tutus. Finally, the top trim (as seen in the photos) appears to be a bit cheap. br>br>On the plus side, they fluff up nicely and are the perfect shade of pink.
Not of the same caliber as some of the others. Love it. Although not of the same high quality as some others, it was inexpensive. That's all there is to it. This is a good match. It's possible that it'll be too big for small people. I have a 36" waist and it fit perfectly with barely any elastic stretching.

I was very pleased with the speed with which these items were delivered. It appeared to be exactly as depicted in the photo. It did have an odor (like a factory or something) that was a little bit unpleasant/strong. idk). I just shrugged it off. These were purchased as a gift for a coworker. I and my coworker It was for the twins day/twelve days of Christmas. It was a little tight on me, but it fit her perfectly. She's a lot smaller than me (I'd say 130 pounds vs. my current weight of 178). It was once again a little cramped. However, I was able to pull it off. We wore them to work (which began around 6:45 a. m. ). 46 a. m. ), and I had a tear in mine by 11 a. m. , while hers kept getting caught on her ring. I understand it was extremely inexpensive, but I would have preferred to get a few more wears out of it before it tore. I'm going to give it a two-star rating. 5 stars.
Because zero stars did not work, I had to give it a star! This was not the item I had requested. I was sent a child's skirt with a black band that was too small for my 12-year-old daughter to wear. It advertises itself as "Women's, Teen, and Adult Classic Elastic. " ", but it's not even close to the image. The skirt is also a stench! I got this today and am going to the post office to return it after writing this review.
