THE SHORTS ARE AMAZING! First and foremost, let me state that I adore these, but there are a few things you should be aware of. 1. br>br> They do not appear to be exactly as depicted in the photo. On the bottom, there is a white lining. With the exception of the string, the image is black. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br I wore a medium in some Nike shorts and they did not fit true to size. I saw a picture of the shorts from a previous reviewer and realized I'd have to go down a size, so I did. They were made to go together. I'm 5'8" and weigh 138 pounds, and my legs are extremely skinny. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. Because there is no mesh lining on the inside of these shorts, you must wear a bathing suit bottom underneath them. Regardless, I am in love with these shorts. They are both comfortable and adorable. I knelt to see if they would cover me, which they did. I think I'll be able to swim in these with ease. These will be paired with a black rash guard for me.
These shorts are fantastic. I usually wear a medium, but I ordered a large after going up a size. They are extremely comfortable to wear. They're also pocket-friendly, which I like. For reference, I'm 5'2" tall and weigh around 155 pounds, give or take, with thick thighs.
The sizing chart was spot on. I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds, and the medium is perfect for me. These shorts have a much higher-quality fabric than I had anticipated. They're soft and don't cling to your skin like cheaper materials do. They're also very comfortable and cool. I'll be placing additional orders for myself and my daughter.

I was worried that the mermaid print would be tacky, but it's actually quite cute in person, and the material is comparable to that of higher-end board shorts.
