I find this fabric to be quite warm and plush. It was awesome to have the hood. After my eyes were covered by it before I realized that I should not have put my whole head inside, it tapers off to a point at the top. In addition, the sleeves taper into a point. On the robe is embroidered the symbol of the house (whichever one you choose). * Length - In terms of height, I am over 5'8" and the skirt hits at my ankle, maybe a little All in all, I am very pleased with the results. The thought of snuggling up with a book (I am reading Harry Potter) and a hot cup of tea makes me thirsty for the evening.
