There is such an interesting ghosted detail in this picture. The jacket is a central part of my costume and serves as the focal point. It seems like some people are complaining that they can't button it, but the description clearly states that the buttons are only decorative. Due to the design of this jacket, it is intended to be worn open, so there is a gap all the way down the front and the buttons won't reach. Due to the reviews on this site, I ordered an XXL and it fits well. I normally wear a size XL. You should order up a size from what you normally wear as the XL was too small. It's rather odd that the pockets are positioned in such a way that they are basically unusable. However, this is more for aesthetic reasons than functional ones, so I don't mind it that much.

We have to buy stuff that is long enough in the sleeve for Hubby since he is tall and thin. Therefore, you could say this jacket was a little large at the waist, but unless this was an athletic cut jacket, that's to be expected for him. It turned out to be a nicer fabric than I expected. It looked as though it had been If the jacket could have been closed (buttoned) or even hooked with chains, that would have been nice. The compliments that Hubby has received have been many. It would probably not look as good on someone who is.

The cuffs on the sleeves are too long, and the sleeves are decorated, so it would be a shame to keep them rolled up. I've ordered a medium for my husband, and he's happy with the fit. I like the fabric since it has a bit of stretch to it.

This coat exceeded my expectations. I usually don't review products, but this one surpassed all This was used as a Victorian ghost costume for Halloween. I received this for my husband and he LOVES it. It's well lined, the pockets work, and the length is just right for him (mid-thigh, he's 6'). It was easy to replace the button with white since they are non-functioning since they are cut off.

Generally speaking, this is a decent coat that can only be used for costumes. The truth is, don't fall for it. There are no buttons on this shirt! The purpose of this is purely aesthetic. There was a tendency for the liner in the sleeves to fall Whenever I put my coat on, I had to tuck the loose end back in. In spite of the price, I didn't expect perfection, so I wasn't overly If you're of a broad build, the jacket definitely fits snugly in the chest and shoulders. I bought this for my husband to wear in the Renaissance Fair, it looked awesome! There are no holes where the buttons should go on the jacket, so he cut them with a utility knife and it worked just fine.
