I just want to say how awesome the jacket is. There are 5 of us in our family. The weight of this person is 10 192 pounds. It actually is two jackets in one, so the reason you are seeing it as you see it is because I got the Large size. As long as it is not too bulky, the inner liner serves as a jacket. The outer jacket is a bit larger without the liner jacket, so it fits like that. For my part, I prefer that they both remain separate. You'll be covered from head to toe, regardless of whether you're going into the Arctic or to severe cold conditions. I had been searching for a good field jacket for a while, so I had high hopes when I saw this one. The moment it arrived I couldn't wait to open it, and when I did, it was an excellent buy of course. The sergeant stripes, however, are a serious problem for me. My first thought was to wear a jacket to work and I didn't notice the patches. That sort of thing makes me wonder what they were Some people are not concerned about the stripes, but as an army veteran (who did not earn the rank of sergeant) I am bound by the belief that these stripes are earned rather than to be worn as a fashion accessory. The stripes made it impossible for me to wear the jacket. The jacket would be just fine without the extra symbolism, so I think this company should dial it back and focus on their product, rather than overthinking it. Almost returned the jacket, but I think I can cover the stripes with the same jacket that I already have. The only reason I rated this product three rather than four or five stars is because of the lack of a warranty.
As I had been wanting to order this jacket for some time, I decided to finally pull the trigger and make the purchase. A month seems like a long time to wait for it. I took around three days to do it! The first thing I want to mention is that I bought a different Brandit jacket that did not fit well and had to return it. I am in love with this jacket however. For my part, I was unable to find sizing info in detail, so I will share mine with you. The jacket that I ordered was an XL In terms of volume, I have about a 43 inch chest and am 6 feet 1 inch and about 220 pounds. The jacket fits snug with the liner in, leaving about enough room for a fleece to go with it. I find that it's a good loose fit but not too loose without the liner. The sleeves are almost an inch too long, but they have this peculiar hook and loop square that allows you to pull back a bit of the length, and then there is the hook and loop tightener so you can keep them on the wrists easily. Generally speaking, the jacket is of good quality. It is appropriate for both spring or fall without the liner. When you have it, it is adequate for a blizzard. Although the zipper is on the left, it is a bit uncomfortable to use, and the inner zipper for the liner is made of plastic, it appears durable.
