I decided to make my own at a cheaper price. Put on a regalia outfit together. By composing my own set of robes, hood, and tam for about a third of the price of the "premium" regalia offered at the university's bookstore, I was able to save money. Although I had hoped that the hood would arrive in a more reasonable condition, this one arrived in much better shape than I expected. The velvet looks that much more expensive than I expected, and the shiny satin (the black part) doesn't appear I steam steamed the item and it hung neatly after release of the wrinkles from shipping. Getting this hood is a great choice for those graduating PhD students or faculty members who need hoods of "premium" quality for a fraction of the.

If you plan on steaming or ironing, be sure to give yourself enough time! I really like the way this looks, You will need to steam or iron this item prior to use since it is folded when shipped!

Compared to the advertisement, it looks better. Upon arrival, the driver was very pleasant and friendly. I used it with the Graduation Mall Unisex Doctoral Grad Robe, and the color and fabric of it match exactly. the fact that the rear closure is on the outside edge rather than the inner seam, so that the liner can be seen However, it is fairly easy to make a new closure when the appropriate place is found.

There is a beautiful sheen to the satin and velvet, and a deep black color to the polyester material of the hood. This hoodie is high quality and does not look cheap at all. I also enjoy the weight and drape of the hood as well. I am very pleased with this deal, which arrived very quickly as well.
