Combat ribbons are awarded to veterans who served in the Vietnam War. A person who has not served in country is not eligible to wear the countries military ribbon or medal. If you want to buy buttons, ribbons, or pins from commercial businesses, that is your choice.

In reality, you shouldn't wear it since it implies that you are trying to display something you have never done. If you are eligible to wear a Vietnam Service Ribbon, it will be stated on your DD214.

The number of Services is five, not four

The pin is the wrong one

The pin I was given was incorrect. But the pin is not in the right bag, even though the bag says it belongs to that one. There is an American flag on the pin. It belongs to the marine corps.
