A hose that provides cold water from the outside keeps it cool, so I see no reason why not. My neck is always covered when I'm out working outside, and I carry one everywhere In cold water, I have found it to be very effective, but the colder the better. So a freezer or refrigerator may be necessary for how long these will cool before needing to be soaked or cooled
The answer is probably no. With a circumference of 20", it fits my head well

It basically consists of a bandanna folded in half with a cooling jell sheet sewn into it. There is a triangular jell sheet that covers your forehead from temple to temple, then tapers back down If you fit it, you lace it onto a square knot to retain its integrity.
To get the band to conform to your head, it must be soaked for a good amount of time. The fit will fail if it is attempted dry. One of the funny things about it is even after you get it wet and fitting to your liking, it keeps its shape when it dries. This means that it becomes hard like a helmet as it becomes hard as it gets. In order to reactivate it, I soak it with the hose, wad it up once it softens, then vacuum it. You can buy with confidence if you buy here. The new versions are much better constructed than the earlier There's no way they are going to fall apart anytime soon, and even if they did, they'd be easy to stitch back together. If they don't have a pattern you like, you might even be able to take it apart and make your own bandanna with the jell pad.
There is no resemblance between the picture and the product. If it were a KKK meeting, the traffic director would be the host. Coneheads would find it perfect, but us humans with rounded heads would find it difficult Whenever you soak it in water, the fabric gradually turns into a slimy, squishy feeling fabric. It's similar to a thick It was completely unknown to me that you had to soak it in water. Videos clearly demonstrate it is stitched in a way that makes it appear permanently molded. Pictures make it appear like it is a preformed hat, but a video clearly demonstrates it is stitched in this way. Happy with my purchase. Bought a yellow bandana for a quarter of the cost.
This is what I came up with. In my experience as a veteran who has performed reasonable exertion in unpleasantly warm environments, I got used to donning a do- it- yourself Using rags. Helmet liners and for running around when it's hot are also good uses for them. While the product is well made, and I did wet it down the way it instructed, it does not evaporate sweat like it claims and forms a layer between your scalp and the air instead. I switched back to my do-it-yourself routine after an hour of martial arts in near 100-degree weather with no breeze I chose to wear the rag (the military issue cravat). Your money is worth saving.
It would only cost a few bucks so I thought I'd give it a shot. As far as I was concerned, it didn't live up to my expectations. That was a big surprise! This is a great product. Working in full sun in the Caribbean means I have to cut, grind, and weld steel for long periods of time. By bringing this umbrella over my head, I am providing shade, preventing sweat from running down my face and safety glasses, and actually making everything I would recommend this product just for the fact that it stops my sweat from dripping down my face and makes me crazy, but it actually does more than that. As well as the spare, I have an additional one.
I wish I would have bought all of them as a bandana style instead. I wish I would have bought all of them before heat stress occurred. When this type of cooling product is used outside in a hot work environment, wetting these down, then wearing them on their heads, has been the most practical way to use them. In the past week, we have had 100 degree days, with heat indexes even higher, and I purchased these to try them out on our torch burners, who have been cutting steel all day. The precaution above is only one of many we have put in place to protect us from heat stress & other risks Although I do not like to use towels in health plans, I find these ones to be the best. They don't come off, are quick to rewet, and can be put back on, unlike towels, which take longer to place under the necklines of high visibility shirts. All torch burners agreed that having the ability to cool their heads down worked best. They liked them and all got "sharpies" and put their names on them before even using Seeing construction workers claiming safety items is a sure sign it's a success!.
This might be the coolest thing we do this year (figuratively). The cool cap was purchased to wear under my bike helmet during the summer heat but I ended up wearing it when I worked in the yard as well. The gelish lining soaking up the water and keeping you cool makes it very uncomfortable when opened. Soak it in cold water, and it feels awesome. The next time I buy these, I will purchase a few more.
