The rings I wear are really rough, and I do not take them off for a long time. My reason for going to tungsten was because of this. The plain tungsten ring I have had for three years has never been scratched. The thing is, this was so cheap and pretty when I saw it that I wanted to try it. The shell is covered with something I do not know what. My expectation was that it would wear out faster since it is clear resin rather than tungsten. However, after months of wearing and working with this cuff I am very pleased to report that it does not show signs of wear. There are no scratches on it, so it's still beautiful. As long as it lasted for one full year as long as it was at this price, I would purchase a new one every year.
