We wanted something durable because he works in construction, so the Tungsten rings were ideal. Each of these polished-edge rings cost $300. This ring far outstripped my expectations. br>br> My husband's is heavy, and he enjoys it. Other mall kiosks had "Tungsten" but it was too light weight and didn't feel like Tungsten at all, unlike this ring. the one you got at the jeweler's br>br> He was able to add the 8mm to this version. L O V Ebr>br>It came with a white line that looked like a scratch right out of the box, but I wet it slightly and it disappeared. it was scratched It's completely vanished at this point. It could have been a dried-on sticker or something else. My husband's ring did the same thing when he rubbed it against metal piping. It's gone now (after he slammed his hand down on it with full force)br>br> Don't hesitate, BUY THIS RING RIGHT NOW! Overall, this is a good ring for the price. It has a nice appearance and complements my black watch nicely. It has a nice thickness to it and is comfortable to wear. My only observation/complaint thus far is that the black has been scraped off in one of the areas as a result of my wearing it while doing dishes. I scraped the ring against a Pyrex glass bowl, and the undercolor is now visible beneath the black. With tungsten, I'm not sure how that's even possible. I have another tungsten ring that I bought somewhere else and have worn it to the gym a few times without scratching it. It might be fine to wear this ring to work or outside. Expect scratches if you plan to use it for anything rough. It did what it was supposed to do for the money.

I took several measurements of the groom's finger to make sure I got it right, and he was an 11 according to the sizing chart. We received it and discovered that the ring was far too large (he wears a size 9) but there was no time to exchange it before the wedding because it was a last-minute decision. This would have gotten five stars if it wasn't for the fact that it was poorly written.

I was glad he mentioned it because I really liked the black bands I'd seen a lot of men wearing lately and would have recommended one to him if he hadn't already, but I figured he wouldn't mind either way. I looked at all the different black band options once I knew he was interested and decided on the Tungsten Carbide for its appearance, durability, and weight. Because my husband is 6'4", I knew the band had to be thick and manly. This ring is very attractive, and it has a substantial weight to it, so it does not feel cheap. I got it for $20 because it was on sale! I figured that if he didn't like it, I could just put it in the jewelry box and try something else, but he seems to like it so far. He was even excited about the price, which was nearly $300 on the website, then reduced to $119, and finally to the $20 I paid. We've been married for 30 years, so we know how to spend our money wisely.

Because we loved this ring so much but couldn't get the sizing right (our fault), we ended up purchasing it in three different sizes. This ring is a favorite of my soon-to-be husband. It has a nice weight to it and fits well on his hand (my hand in the photo). He goes to the gym every day without gloves on, so if we have any issues with blemishes or scratches, I'll update the reviews.
