Questions & Answers
Although it is unlikely that it will turn your finger green, read on for the full explanation. br>A chemical reaction between acids in your skin and the metal, or a chemical reaction between something else on your hand, such as lotions, soaps, and other metals, causes a ring (or any other piece of metal) to turn green. Despite the fact that this ring is labeled "Silver Tungsten Carbide," it contains no silver. Some people's skin may discolor (turn green or black) when exposed to silver, copper, nickel, cobalt, and gold/silver metal blends. Tungsten carbide may contain nickel or cobalt as a binding agent, but as long as the metal is of a low or no cobalt blend, no discoloration should occur.
Hello, dear customer,br>We're sorry, but this tungsten ring does not come in size 18.
I'm not sure what an alcohol hand rub is, but I always wear my ring and it's never worn out. Hand sanitizers and cleaners are something I use on a regular basis. I hope this information is useful.
Hello, David, the ring is made up of 90% tungsten and 10% carbide with nickel as binder.

To wear on my thumb, I bought a rose gold and a yellow gold 4mm ring - Not necessarily at the same time, but for the purposes of this review, I photographed them together (in various lighting conditions) for comparison. The visual difference between the two colors isn't huge, but it's noticeable enough that I won't be returning either. br>br>Sizes appear to be 'oh soooo slightly smaller' than standard; I usually wear a size 8 on my thumb, but these leave no room for error. However, as I previously stated, it is only a minor difference. These rings are extremely durable, and the price is very reasonable. I've had a white gold toned one for a long time and love it, so I decided to add to the family by adopting a few more.
I'm going to fix this problem. I got a size 9 (18. 5). According to the size chart, it should be 9 mm, but using my digital calipers, it should be 19. It's a hair larger than expected at 0 mm, and it slides on my finger slightly more than a 18. Ring with a diameter of 9 mm. br>br>In addition, the ring is less curved than a similar ring I bought on Amazon from Metal Factory (see attached photo), and I prefer the curved one. I'll try it on for a week and see if I prefer it or if it's a non-starter. I'll raise my rating from four to five stars because of this problem.
I was hoping to fall in love with this ring. The ring changed color from silver to dark gunmetal after I received it yesterday. After a closer inspection, I discovered that it was a film that would require some effort to remove. Nope - This is completely unacceptable.
It's perfect, simple, and SO comfortable! I usually wear it when I'm out with the girls so men will stay away, which they do! I'm definitely going to buy more in the future!.
The design is well-made and comfortable. The metal has a nice, solid feel to it. The fit is exactly what I was hoping for. My wedding band has been replaced, and I'm very happy with it. Buying this ring was actually less expensive than having my white gold band resized.
It serves as a stand-in for the real thing. I've only recently given birth and haven't completely recovered from the swelling. I missed wearing my wedding ring, especially when I was out, so I ordered this in a larger size to fill the gap.
I've been wearing it for months and have yet to get a scratch! What more could I ask for than something that is comfortable, shiny, and inexpensive? Suitable for daily use.
This is the 6 mm band; I have extremely thin fingers, so the size 5 was ideal; It's not too tight around my finger, but not so loose that it slips over my knuckle. It appears to be in great shape. constructed and dependable The only issue I have with it is that it's extremely dark. It almost looks like hematite; it's still attractive; it's just not the "white gold" color I had in mind based on the photo. But for nine dollars, I can't complain too much.
