In my usual size for him (XXLT), this fit perfectly. It is thin enough not to be too hot, but thick enough that it does not show I like the fact that this shirt dries really quickly for him.

As far as fit and length are concerned, the shirt was great

Our last cruise included some snorkeling and we purchased a 2XLT for getting some sun. The shirt had a very comfortable fit and was a great length (a lot of other tall shirts are not that tall). As long as the material dries quickly, it can be worn later. I was highly satisfied with the overall experience.
