When I spend a long time sailing, even the best sunscreen won't protect my face, I wear this to keep my skin moist. While I have used buffs in the past, I find it tedious to have to continuously pull them up to keep them in place. In addition to my baseball cap and sunglasses, I'll also wear the hood. Despite my dissatisfaction with the sleeves, I do like the shirt's design. The hand covers are made from a small piece of fabric. When sailing, your hands must remain free to grab ropes, so there's no point in keeping them free for fishing. Lastly, I wear gloves as well. There is another thing I don't like about the shirt as well the big "coolibar" logo. The part of the shirt on which the logo is silkscreened is basically an area where the shirt doesn't breathe and becomes Hot days are annoying because that happens.

I like how it fits. Designed to stay in place while swimming and snorkeling without flopping out. The product gives great coverage to the scalp and ears. It is an expensive product, but it is worth the investment.
