I ordered a large and later regretted not ordering a medium. I'm not sure if it would have changed the sleeve length, but I believe it would have changed the amount of material in the back.
I went up a size from my usual size.
I'm 6'1 and very fit, so the 42 reg was perfect for me; if that helps, I can send you a photo if you email me.
I ordered a 46, which has a little extra length in the sleeves. It's a size XXL, I'd say.

This jacket is a real head turner. This rainbow / gold sequined jacket is sure to catch everyone's eye, whether you're the flamboyant type, completely at ease in your own skin, or a combination of both. I ordered an XS and it was just a smidgeon too small, so I exchanged it for an S, which is just a smidgeon too big, so I'm in the middle. For reference, I'm 5'4" tall, 140 pounds, and have a 36-inch chest. Overall, I like this jacket because it hits right in the middle of my hand and moves to the center of my wrist when I stretch my arms out. The sequins, as well as all seams, are well-sewn, and the fabric quality is excellent for the price; I'm very pleased with my purchase.
This is a lovely costume coat. This was purchased for a professional organization convention where the official color is purple. This is something I'll probably only wear once or twice a decade. As a result, it's appropriate for parties or perhaps a club event where you're required to wear a specific color and look outrageous. There are no pockets on either the outside or inside of the jacket. There are no buttons or buttonholes on it as well. The quality of the sequin installation on the jacket, on the other hand, appears to be excellent. When you put it on, it looks fantastic. In terms of how flashy it is, it appears to be exactly what other buyers have said. Regarding the jacket's size, I agree with some other customer comments. I'm a 44 Regular, I'm not particularly slim, and I have a lot of suits that have been tailored to fit my body. The shoulders fit correctly, and it is not too tight across the shoulders when reaching, as I ordered this jacket in a size 46 Regular. So, unless you're very small and frail, I recommend ordering the next size up to ensure a proper fit. I'm going to get a purple jacket with an outside pocket so I can wear a pocket square and none of the sequins.
It is certain to attract interest. For a perfect fit, go a size up. It runs a little small, so go up a size if you're between sizes, but otherwise, this is a fantastic product that will get you noticed at any party or event. People come to a halt, look at it, and even play with it. This is not a suit for someone who doesn't like to be touched, because everyone is going to touch it and change the colors. Because it gleams in the light, you'll glow like a disco ball, and everyone will notice. Wearing it is a lot of fun, and it's a great conversation starter. Just keep an eye out for your friends who will have a lot of fun with it and begin writing on it. On the back of mine, they scrawled "kick me. " But it's a lot of fun and flashy.
The lapel styling did not appeal to me in the least. When I arrived at the party, however, people couldn't take their eyes off this jacket! As they ran their hands across it, it changed colors, enthralling everyone. My fiancée says I'm not allowed to wear it unless she's with me! A button is the only thing I wish it had. When you rub your fingers against the sequin's grain, the color changes (from purple to black). The jacket also has functional pockets in the breast. br> Cons: When I received the jacket, it was missing a button (it didn't have one). I like the coat and plan to have it stitched on, but a button should have been included. Medium was the perfect size for me.
I was hoping for a close fit after reading other reviews about ordering one size up. But, despite the fact that I'm a 46, the jacket fit me surprisingly well. ) turned out to be even better than anticipated. So far, the jacket has been fantastic. I haven't worn it out yet. We'll see how things go during the first performance.
