What about a 42 Short?
My husband is 5'10" and weighs 195 pounds, so I ordered a 46 regular for him. The jacket's sleeves were about the right length, but there was a lot of room in the middle. It had a lot of space in the middle. He wished for a better-fitting garment. I hope this has been of assistance.
No, it's not a suit; it's a Blazer with a nice fit and a reasonable price.

For my husband's Christmas present, I ordered the 40 Reg. The blazer appears to be well-made and fits well. The 40 reg appears to be a good fit. My only criticism is that the sleeves' upper arms are excessively full. They appear to be designed for a professional bodybuilder. My only gripe is that my husband chose to keep the blazer in the first place. I'm thinking about having the sleeves taken in by a tailor.
Although I chose "warm sand," the color is yellow rather than light brown. Despite my disappointment, I like how it's made and how it fits, so I'll keep it. I would not have purchased it if it had been available in a store. I would have walked right past it.
Although the color was a little more yellow than we had hoped, it still looked fantastic on our groomsmen. Much less expensive than renting a tuxedo and a better fit without alterations than renting one from a tuxedo shop.
The coat was lovely, but it was far too big for me. I placed an order for my usual 48R. In every way, it was excessively large.
It appears to be just a smidgeon too big - I normally wear a 44L but wish I had ordered a 42L instead.
The quality of the product is excellent, the color is incredible, and it fits perfectly on my body. The size is correct, and I will purchase it again.
according to plan.
