Yes, the 50 short portly was perfect for a wearer with a 50" waist and 5'5" height. The waist is just right, and the sleeves are well-fitting. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this jacket.
Yes, the outside pockets (both the breast pocket and the two lower pockets beneath the flaps) can be used. There are a few pockets on the inside, too: On the left, there are two upper pockets (one of which closes with a button) and one lower pocket.

We'll see how long it lasts! It's much nicer and softer than I anticipated. In the future, I will most likely purchase from this site. In comparison to others we've seen in the same size, the pricing is reasonable.
It was a nice jacket at a good price, but it was too big all over and the sleeves were too long, despite the fact that I ordered a "short. " For my husband, I bought a similar size in a different brand that fit him better. If you buy this Adolfo, I recommend ordering a size down.
