Selected User Reviews For Minnetonka Men's Pile Lined Hardsole Slipper
The world is not the same as it was five As the population grows, so does popularity The cost of living skyrockets There is a decline in quality. This new pair (purchased 9/2019) doesn't feel as good as the older ones. It looks like they were made differently now than when I was gifted the pair by my wife five years ago. On my older pair of laces, there are thick, real leather loops. Lace on this new pair feels extremely fake, cheap, and fragile. * * * * This new pair is much looser and larger than the previous The size 9 is usually the most comfortable for me. I bought these in 9 and purchased 5 in 5. There are two of them that are bigger than nine. The old pair that I have in a size 9 is comfortable as well However, these new slippers do not work as well. Every step I take, you can see the back of the slipper slide off my heel. A Minnetonka label is stitched into the heel area of the new pair on the inside. It is rather uncomfortable to wear and can be quite irritating. Your slipper has an unpleasant feeling, as if a dead bug or a piece of dirt were inside I don't think this is a good marketing strategy, Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the fit, quality, and feel of these new kicks. Over five years ago, I had the same pair of boots, and I could just buy it as well A quality pair of shoes is once again available.
See what the 'date first available' means on each of It is a shame that Minnetonka switched manufacturing for these cheaper pile-lined slippers on June 26, 2003. These were once a great product. Unfortunately, Minnetonka has switched manufacturing for these cheaper slippers. I generally dislike no-name brands from Walmart. Here's the good news they're better than no-name brands from Wal-Mart. Although Minnetonka slippers still make great slippers, you just have to fork over a little more cash for the sheepskin varieties. I would say they are 30% more than the normal price, but WORTH EVERY DOLLAR. While the sheepskin is obviously more luxurious than the fake fur, the soles are more durable, the lacing is more durable, and the leather is more durable. Everything seems to be okay now. Their manufacturing facilities are completely different, so the products they produce are completely different. Is there any doubt in your mind? Take a look at both and order them both. Both at night and during the I ask you Minnetonka, please keep on making the high-quality goods We are always in need of high-quality skeepskin ones, and you can take your name off these pile-lined ones, or at least make both lines with the same level of quality.
I would never purchase from this company The seller's product is not the issue here, but the product itself Slip on these Minnetonka slippers with pile lining and hardsoles. While I have always purchased Minnetonka products, there is a chance I might reconsider. The tongue of this particular shoe is attached to the shoe's lower half by what appears to be weak lacing or some type of fabric. At the end of 4 I wore these indoors 5 times before they started ripping. This is the first time I have had any issues with this brand. I don't have wide feet or a high arch, and I've never had this problem with any other brand. To save a few dollars, they seemed to have cut some corners on the shoe construction, and by not lacing the tongue in leather, it looks like a cheap labor-saving method. Slippers like this are pretty useless, in my opinion. Do not make any attempts to get involved.
Due to poor quality control, the product does not fit well The ties come untied for no apparent reason, as other reviewers have said. Despite their longevity, my last pair of Minnetonkas lasted at least ten years, if not longer. My intention was not to accept the poor reviews, I should have. Another off-putting thing happened. Profits are sacrificed for quality at overseas companies. I will be purchasing Minnetonka products for the last time.
When shoemakers make insoles, why do they specify the wrong type of foam? A mere few hours of wear will flatten the shirts down to nothing. Previously, I had a pair of Chinese made mocs similar to this which lasted 20 years, but now I'm on my 5th brand of American and/or imported shoes unable to last even In exchange for my left one, I would like a moc with a cushioned insert which would last as long as my old shoes did. With the Minnetonka insoles, my step will tell me whether it is filtered or unfiltered in less than two weeks now, so now when I walk outside to get the mail and step on some cigarette butt, I can instantly determine whether it is filtered or unfiltered. That is shameful of you, Minnetonka, for importing the same old crap everybody else does. It's shame on all of you that you don't provide decent.
It rarely occurs to me to write about anything I buy on Amazon, but I have been so irritated by these that I couldn't resist. This is such a marked decline in quality since the last time I purchased a pair from Minnetonka. These have been in my possession for eight days, and I have solely used them for taking my dogs out to potty. But the stitching holding the top and bottom halves together has already broken. To see Minnetonka's quality of production at this level is quite depressing. It had been my go-to slipper for years, but I think it's time to find something new.
It has been about six months since I bought these slippers, and now the stitching on the left one has broken and I need to order another pair. It was over three years since I bought my previous brand. These are not something I would buy.
I have owned the slippers for 14 months, and they were nice during that time. I was given a tip up to 1 size smaller than you need from another Amazon user. I did that, and I was very grateful to hear that. Since I'm a shoe size 10 and ordered a 9, these ended up fitting pretty well for me. In the winter, I wear my ear tubes every day, but not at all in the summer, so it's been about 8 months since I've worn them regularly. I am now looking for a way to repair the right shoe, which has a huge hole in Also, the "shoe laces" must be constantly retied to keep the shoes in place There are ties. It's relatively easy for them to lose. I find it a bit irritating, but it's not a deal-breaker. My friend raves about this brand of slippers, so I've heard good things about it. I've been looking for my 'forever' pair of slippers for a while. The slippers on my feet don't look like they will last very long, but I am willing to pay a premium if they will last me for a long time. I was hoping for more durability on these, but it looks like I will continue looking for that perfect pair. They seem to be a good option for a casual user who wants a name brand and plans to use them lightly. You ought to choose something else if you are going to wear them daily and want a slipper with a hard sole that will last a long time.
