I've seen this fabric offered by Lee in pants, but none of the cargo/carpenter style on Amazon as of last January or so.
These were not purchased in black by my husband. He did, however, purchase camo in tan, grey, and white/gray. Every single one of them is made in the same way. The phone pocket is located on the right side of all of his bags.

as well as restful My absolute favorite pair of shorts! These shorts are absolutely fantastic! I spend the entire day (often up to six hours) on my computer. Installing network (7 days a week); A/V; At job sites, surveillance and security cabling and equipment are used, and these allow for smooth motion with no pinch points and are not too heavy. The larger waistband and belt loops compared to most other brands/styles of shorts make it much more comfortable to wear a belt with tool pouches for extended periods of time, and they're also great for relaxing in after a big potluck or grill feast at friends' houses. For reference, my Samsung S10e with thick case fits perfectly in the cell phone pocket. I highly recommend these shorts for anyone looking to unwind in a pair of comfortable shorts or for a field tradesman.
Unfortunately, I wish I could give these shorts a five-star rating because they fit and feel great, but they only get a one-star rating due to their lack of durability. I bought two pairs of these shorts on March 26th, 2019, and the one pictured ripped at the crotch at the end of May, after only two months of use. The second couple is about to follow in their footsteps. For a $30 pair of shorts, this is a huge letdown.
I'm on my third pair of these shorts and have no plans to stop wearing them. They're both comfortable and long-lasting. They have all of the standard cargo pockets, including one that is cell phone size, which I like; the only issue is sizing. Lee seems to believe that after a certain age, men's waist sizes suddenly jump two sizes at a time, whereas my waist size is 35. Lee, on the other hand, makes these shorts in the following sizes: 30, 32, 33, 34, 36, 38, and 40. Men don't seem to have waists of 31, 35, 37, or 39 inches. The 36 size was clearly too big when I tried them on, but the 34 size fit perfectly before I washed them. They shrank after washing and can be a little tight around the waist; I found that washing them in cold water and drying them on a cool setting works best for me. I wouldn't have had that problem if they made a size 35.
While I appreciate the comfort of these shorts, I am concerned about their long-term durability. As the weather begins to warm up, I put them on and discovered that two of my summer pairs have ripped near the back pockets. I wore them to work and around the house for about two months. Because these were not intended to be used as workout or yard work shorts, they were not overly stressed. This week, I replaced them with new pairs to see if they work as well. Despite how much I like the feel and stretch of these, I believe this is my final attempt with this brand; I made sure to order the same size as my other shorts, which aren't having the same problem.
The fit is true to size. I bought a pair in the color "nomad" in September of this year, and they quickly became my favorite pair of shorts to wear to work every day, as well as casually outside of work. They were a perfect fit for me and true to size, with pockets in the right places to hold all of my work-related items. I still use them on a regular basis. They were ideal for my daily use and are still in excellent condition after all these years, proving to be extremely durable and long-lasting. I was going to order another identical pair because I liked them so much, but I decided to order another pair in the color "caramel" this time just to make it easier to tell them apart. I could have ordered less expensive shorts on Prime Day that were different from these, but I decided to buy a second pair of these instead because I had such a good experience with the first pair. They seemed to me to be of a high enough quality to justify the price. I strongly advise you to purchase them, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
I've bought a lot of shorts over the years and received a pair of these in a different color and was blown away by the fit and comfort, as opposed to other shorts that are either too tight or too loose while claiming to be the same waist. br>br>Also, small details like the pockets are great. The cell phone pocket is conveniently located, and the back pockets are easy to access while securely holding your wallet. I wish the front pockets were a little deeper so I could keep my keys and change in them when I sat down, but otherwise these are fantastic shorts. I'm going to toss some other shorts and buy at least one or two more.
I'm not in between sizes and have never needed to get a 34 before, but I believe the stretch belt within the waist takes up space in these shorts. The 34 is a perfect fit.
The cell phone pocket is the perfect size, narrow enough to keep the phone from flopping around but deep enough to keep it from falling out. All smart phones are compatible with this case. Shorts did not shrink or lose color after three washes.
