My husband's thighs aren't at all tight, but I'm not sure how big your son's are, so it's difficult to say.
The inseam, or the distance between the crotch and the bottom of the pants leg, is 8 1/2 inches. The outside seam is 20 and 1/2 inches long, measured from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hip. Hopefully, these figures will be of assistance to you.
According to the label, 98% of the fabric is cotton and 2% is spandex. The garment is well made.

Based on the photos, I thought these would be fantastic, but I was completely wrong. Shorts that hit me past the knee and look unflattering are always an issue for me, but these take the cake. The legs and seat had been cut very large and had a lot of bellowing. Although the waist fit as expected, I was unable to make these work on any level. I looked like a clown wearing these because the legs went halfway down my lower leg. I looked to see if I had ordered a tall size instead of a regular because the crotch was so low and the legs were so long, but there was no indication that I had.
I tried these on as part of a Prime Wardrobe order and found them to be comfortable and attractive. So I kept them, washed them according to the instructions, and tucked them away in my drawer. After that, we had some colder weather, and I didn't get to wear them for a few months. br>br>The first time I wore them, the button popped off before I could reach for my belt; the pants weren't tight, and I don't think I was even using the stretchiness; They were, if anything, a little too big for me (hence the need for a belt). I asked my daughter if she could sew it back on, but upon closer inspection, we discovered that the button had broken and could not be reattached. br>br>Given the low cost of these, finding a seamstress and paying her to fix it doesn't seem worth it. Maybe if I find another spare button that looks good with them, I can ask my daughter to put it on, but all of the spares we have look terrible on these. So, at this point, I had essentially paid for a paperweight that I had never worn as pants.
I was looking for a pair of Haggar "Q" shorts that I'd had for a dozen years. to replace the ones with a 42-inch waist that are now too big. These weren't the ones we were looking for. These are of lower quality, and while I am disappointed, I believe this is due to other clothing companies, such as Levi Strauss, trading quality for lower-cost materials in recent years. I'm keeping these shorts, but only with a smidgeon of approval.
You can either completely avoid food (elderly anorexia) or enjoy life while watching the old waistline expand. I've been fighting this battle for years. Now I want to look stylish while also being comfortable, so I turn to Hagger, a company that has been designing men's clothing (and understanding older men) for decades. I used to live right next door to the factory. Slacks and shorts by Hagger are fantastic. Very good quality. Materials are of good quality. Stitching is fantastic. They hold up well in the wash and still look great. You won't find a better pair of men's dress slacks or shorts anywhere. Especially for us baby boomers, this book comes highly recommended.
* But I had no idea how cozy they'd be! I'm spying on my coworkers and friends. Because I keep rubbing my legs together when I wear these, they work out. What difference does it make? That's how great they're feeling right now. Plebes, take care of it! br>br>Anyway, I'm going to buy every pair of shorts from these guys for the rest of my life if they last that long. br>br>*I haven't yet washed them. I was afraid that if I washed them, it would make them worse. I dunno. . make them feel a little less at ease! But it's something I really need to do. Hopefully, they'll hold up in the washing machine. Cheers!.
My husband owns these shorts in tan and likes them, so I ordered a different color in the same size. They weren't going to work. It's a pain to deal with the inconsistency of fit.
These might be a smidgeon tighter than Haggar's long pants. They do, however, fit a little bigger than the last pair of Haggar shorts I purchased. I couldn't decide whether the size 42 would go with my current long pants and work well, or if it would run like the 40s I had previously purchased and end up being too big. I hope you understood what I said. I'd say they're true to size, if not slightly smaller.
I received an item that had apparently been returned because there were no tags attached, which is typical of new clothing. That didn't bother me; what did was the fact that they were crumpled into a ball and stuffed into a plastic bag that was far too small, leaving them wrinkled and unfit for immediate use. br>br>The item itself is fine, but the shipping was a disaster.
