I really like these shirts because they are of good quality and have no tags, labels, or stickers on them. I'm going to keep buying more. br>br>Unfortunately, I must make an update and reduce my rating from 5 to 2 stars. The threads at the bottoms of the shirt had almost completely come out by themselves in the washing and drying process by the time I took it out of the washer for the third time. This shirt has a poor sewing job, but I am not discouraged from purchasing from this company because this is only one of five shirts that have had this problem so far.
When this happened the first time, the company quickly responded, explaining that this was not normal and providing a replacement - This is what prompted me to be more open with my orders. However, the company now expects me to go out of my way to return the defective shirts on my own time and expense; while a warranty is nice, it shouldn't be used to justify poor quality control, and it shouldn't be the customer's responsibility to make things right if the shirts fall apart after the first or second wash. These shirts fit well and are comfortable, aside from the stitching quality issue that has now affected 3/11 of the shirts I own (I haven't worn or washed all of them yet; I expect more to exhibit the same issue as soon as I do). It's a real pity, because I thought I'd found a fantastic shirt company. This is the shirt to do it on if you want to roll the quality control issue dice in the hopes of getting a good shirt. Do you wish for good fortune?.
These shirts don't even come close to the sizing of a standard 3xl tee shirt from Walmart, which I wear without issue. The 3xl isn't even close to a standard 2xl tee shirt, so I ordered a 4xl to see if it would be any better, but I was disappointed to find that it, too, isn't much larger. For someone who is nearly 30 years old. 00 tee shirt You'd think they'd have a better quality control system in place for whoever is sizing these Honduran-made shirts. This shirt isn't going to last more than a few washes and dryings. If you're going to represent veterans like me, make sure the products you're selling are of high quality. A GOOD QUALITY SHIRT MADE IN AMERICA WOULD HAVE BEEN WORTH MORE TO ME.
The quality of clothing has plummeted to dangerously low levels. Grunt shirts were always a favorite of mine. Four of the five shirts I ordered had uneven prints and were of poor quality. I kid you not, the one I ended up keeping ripped around the neck after 1 was. I'm also returning the trash. I even called customer service, but the woman was uninterested and told me to "just send it back. " " I go out of my way to help veterans and patriots. I'm afraid I won't be able to continue to support this once-great company.
I can only speak for the men's sizes that are larger. They don't fit true to size and are rather small. Unfortunately, this is standard practice in the industry, so I anticipated it and ordered an XXL when I normally wear an XL in Carharrt and other heavy cotton tees. Even so, if I buy another Grunt shirt, which I will most likely do, I will need to order an XXXL to fit my XL body. As of this review on July 30, 2021, I am 5'11" tall and weigh around 240 pounds. Despite the fact that I am not an athlete, I am "husky" and well proportioned. Maybe a smidgeon of pot belly, but nothing to write home about. Apart from that, the neck and arms of these shirts are well-fitting. The lightweight and small fit for the larger sizes were the only things that disappointed me.
The shirt is fantastic, but it is quite long. It's designed for a noodle, and it's the first grunt shirt I've had this issue with. br>br>Just to be clear, I ordered a medium shirt, as I always do, first right at the chest and short sleeves are perfect, but the shirt's length is too long; it goes down a little more than half way down my thigh, getting pretty close to my knees, which is not cool. br>br>If this issue could be resolved, I would buy this shirt again.
I really wanted one or five of these (some for friends), but I gave up after only trying three of them. If you order your normal size, it will fit like a second skin; it is very tight and the material is thin; it is not a semi-loose, comfortable fit; there are no hidden surprises. If you want to look good and feel more comfortable, remove this shirt form. If you go up a size, it will be far too long. Sad. In the end, low-cost materials and sizes are ineffective.
Many reviews stated that the sizes were too small. I usually order an XL, so that's what I got. It was a little bigger than I expected when I first tried it on. I've washed it several times since then, and it's still a little larger than I anticipated. It'll hopefully fit perfectly after a few more washes.
