Questions & Answers

What's the deal with the pocket's big goofy label? Is it possible to remove it?

Carhartt is one of my favorite brands. It's small and tasteful, not big and goofy in my opinion. People can tell I'm wearing a good shirt; if I wanted a shirt without a label, I'd buy Hanes or another generic brand.

I can't seem to get enough of negative feedback. Is it really that bad with these shirts?

I like the shirts a lot, and I've always had good luck with Carhartt!
If you read on the carhartt website it tells you which colors are 100% cotton and which colors are a 60/40 blend !

What is the fit like on the tee shirts?

I'm 6'4", 250 pounds, and have a good amount of table muscle. I purchased 3XLT and they were a perfect fit for me. Because I wear my shirts tucked in, I prefer them to be a little baggier and longer. On me, these don't come untucked.

What is the extent of their shrinkage? If any? I use cold water to wash my clothes. ?

No shrinkage after the first wash (another brand of workwear shrank by 2 inches).

Imagine your largest shirt being referred to as an XL
3/5

This is a larger version. I'm 6'3 210 pounds and wear an L tall or XL in every shirt known to man, but THIS shirt in an XL size is the size of 45 regular XL tshirts stitched together. It's so enormous that I convened a house meeting in the living room to lament how ridiculously massive it was in comparison to a standard XL. I could make drapes out of this shirt if I used it as a duvet cover. Even if you could afford a commercial washing machine large enough to handle this shirt, folding it would require a team of people, similar to how the American flag is folded at halftime at center field. If cotton was still picked by hand, this single XL shirt would contain one or two cottonpickers' entire lifetime's work. It's even bigger than big; it's enormous.

Despite the fact that they are labeled S, M, and L, they are only available in one size
3/5

I usually wear a large T-shirt, so I went with that size. I ordered a Medium because it was a little too big. Because the Medium was exactly the same size as the Large when it arrived, I ordered a Small. When the Small arrived, it was identical to the Medium and Large in terms of size. They only come in one size, which is denoted by the letter S. It's not a big deal because I only use these for yard work, but they're all the same size.

Sizes don't exist in the real world
3/5

The sizes are unlike anything I've ever seen from another manufacturer. These shirts don't just run big; mine appeared to be several sizes bigger than the size chart indicated. Despite being "regular fit," this thing fits like a tarp, and the length is ridiculously long, going all the way past my knees. This shirt is so ridiculously oversized that it's almost comical. Not only does it look bad, but working in it would be impossible/dangerous due to the loose, draping fabric's proclivity for getting caught on anything. For years, I've admired Carhartt clothing, but their design and manufacturing have gone horribly wrong. This is the last time I'll buy this brand.

QUALITY is a word that comes to mind when thinking of Carhartt
5/5

The Carhartt shirts I ordered to be embroidered for our construction company did not disappoint once again. All Carhartt brand and original fit, Hunter Green on top of Carbon Heather, Dark Cobalt Blue, and Navy. Men's size LARGE, with a length of 32 inches and a width of 24 inches under the arm. Also purchased some size large Guilden brand shirts, and the Carhartt is an inch wider, longer, and the arms are also much wider. Great quality, and I've seen them hold up to heavy use and washing in the past.

100% COTTON NOT 100 COTTON NOT 100% This shirt made in Guatemala is NOT 100% cotton, nor is the color anywhere as light as the heather grey, as you can see from the label
3/5

Desert grey was the color you sent me. The other two were supposedly made in Haiti and Mexico, but they all have a polyester feel to them!.

It's far too big and not at all what I expected
3/5

I'm 6' and 210 pounds, so I've been buying XLs for about 35 years, and this isn't one of them. The thing was HUGE but had an XL tag on it, so it's an XXL at the very least. The most irritating aspect is how deceiving the advertisement photo is - NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE, NO These were standard short, goofy sleeves that did not protrude at the ends like the ad photo depicts. The misrepresentation of Amazon clothing is becoming increasingly vexing. Returns are simple, but it's become increasingly common in recent years for advertisements to be flatly false, and here we go again with the Carhart shirt (say it ain't so), perhaps hoping that people will say, "Oh, screw it," and keep it.

T- a selection of work that I like T- a collection of work that I After trying on a few different brands, I decided to go with this one
5/5

Out of several brands of work shirts I've tried, this is by far the best. I attempted to restock my Duluth Trading Long-Term Investment portfolio. Tail t- shirts with extra room, known as a 'tradesman fit,' which is the polar opposite of a slim-fit shirt. They're also a few inches longer on the bottom to avoid the plumber's crack. The issue I ran into was price; Duluth Trading's merchandise is extremely nice, but it's prohibitively expensive. I adore their underwear, shirts, and pants, but I went broke just buying two pairs. Three days' worth of clothes br>br>As a result, I started looking for alternatives. For a few days, I couldn't get past the fact that all regular shirts were too short for me. For starters, I despise plumbers' cracks, and I frequently bend and kneel. Two, I carry a concealed weapon. Long shirts have an 80-percent chance of being successful. 90 of the concealment is for you if you have one, otherwise you must dig a holster inside your pants and dig deep into your hip hard. Tall shirts are a less expensive option than semi-formal shirts. The Duluth Longtail t-shirt is available in a variety of sizes. shirts. The price was the next criteria I needed to meet, and almost everything is less expensive than Duluth, with the exception of UnderArmour. However, everything from UnderArmour is usually well-made. As a result, they are eliminated from the contest. These are Tall t-shirts that I purchased to go with my longer Longtail t-shirts. shirts: br>br>Fruit-based br>br>fruit-based br>br>fruit- the- Cotton t-shirt from Fruit of the Loom (FOTL). a Wal-Mart shirt Mart: Fits my body well, feels like the advertised size, and is made of a thin material. In Wal-Mart, it costs $8. Mart, it's cheap, but it's not a high-quality shirt that can compete with the others; it's just a grade below. Even though it's a cheap shirt, I'd gladly wear it if I didn't have any other obligations. shirts. br>br>Hane's Beefy-Hane's Beefy-Hane's Beefy-Hane's Beefy- T's 6. 10z t- Shirt: Cheap, about half the cost of Duluth. For a work-related item, the material is too thin for me. Yes, even in the summer, I prefer thicker material because it wicks away more sweat. The material was too thin for a work shirt; it was the same thickness as the FOTL shirt. After break-in, it was slightly trim fitting. They're 'normal' for their advertised size, slightly trimmer than the FOTL, in my opinion. $10 with Prime. br>br>Dickie's Big-Fat-Fat-Fat-Fat-Fat-Fat-Fat-Fat-Fat-F Short-sleeved tall heavyweight crew neck: Beefy is thicker than the Beefy is thicker than the Beefy is thicker than T, but only a smidgeon of a chance. Beefy's price is the same as Beefy's. These are a 'trim fit' for very lean individuals to be comfortable in, and they are very trim fitting for the advertised size. These would be too tight to wear even if I was in the same shape as I was at 21. br>br>Duluth Long-Term Care Facility br>br> Tail t- tee (didn't order tall; ordered regular height): Thick material that is more comfortable in the summer because it wicks moisture better and is more comfortable in the winter because it is thicker. Two or three inches taller than other standard-size shirts, which spoiled me to the point where I now order tall shirts from every other company. They're almost perfect shirts for the entire year, in my opinion. I only have three because they cost over $20 each after shipping from Duluth, and no, Duluth does not offer Amazon Prime shipping. It's lovely, but building a wardrobe with it is prohibitively expensive. br>br>Carhartt Big-Little-Little-Little-Little-Little-Little Short-Sleeve T-Shirt for Tall Workwear shirt: The material is as thick as a Duluth shirt, and it's one inch longer than the standard-length Longtail-style shirt I ordered. As a result, I got a T from Duluth, which isn't quite as roomy as the Duluth shirt, but it has a lot more girth than the other brands. Although the material has a slightly rougher feel than the Duluth, it is still comfortable to bend non-stretchable. stop. Costs $15 with Amazon Prime, 50% more than the Hane and Dickie shirts but at least $5 less than a Duluth shirt.

My summary is that the Car I tested mine recently in 100-degree heat because it was thick enough and long enough. The thicker material, like that of the Duluth shirt, worked to keep sweat away from the body for longer than thinner shirts. However, I live near the Mississippi River in a very humid area. In the middle of the year, it is extremely humid. From the spring to the autumn Many people may not have to contend with such high levels of humidity. I can stock four Carhartt shirts for a buck or two less than I can stock three Duluth shirts, and anyone who works outside knows that on a hot day, you can easily go through two or three shirts. day in order to avoid getting wet. So instead of 9 Carhartt shirts, I can stock up on 12 to last me a week, even if a certain family member (you know who you are) hides them in a clothes pile somewhere for a few days. The savings are significant enough to make a significant difference for anyone purchasing several shirts.

'HORRIBLE SIZING CONTROL OF QUALITY
3/5

HORRIBLE QUALITY SIZING CONTROL I've bought these a few times and will continue to do so. SHOCKER, it's clearly stamped 3 X LARGE TALL on the TAGLESS TAG in the shirt. It was a full seven inches longer. at least 6" inches WIDERbr>than the old ones I made in GUATEMALA (which were also stamped identically). if you're between 300 and 500 pounds, made in Guatemalabr> These will most likely fit you if you weigh 500 pounds and stand 6' 8". br>SIDENOTE=I am 6'4" tall, 260 pounds, and have a chest measurement of 58 inches. In this Carhartt workwear Pocket T, I wear a 3XLT. br>The shirt is a nice heavy weight, so I'm hoping that if I order a 2XL, it will fit like the 3XLT used to. Returns are always free.
