The small would be my choice.
The Brood Woven hat does, in fact, have a snap on the front. Good luck with your day!
A large brixton brood fits me perfectly because I am a 7 3/8 in new era caps.

This is a hat of true distinction. I've tried on a few peaky blinders-style hats in the past, but they've all been too poofy and mushroom-shaped. This one is ideal: it's not shaped like a scally, it's not a flat cap that rides on top of your head, it's a little loose on top, and it sits low on the head. It has exceeded my expectations. The circumference of my head is 23 centimeters. I'm 5'6" (60mm) and ordered a large, which is perfect. It's not too tight and not too loose at the same time. Get one of these hats and do a fayva for yourself, huh?.
It's a thick hat that'll keep you warm. This item was purchased as a gift. This is the second Brixton Men's Brood Snap Cap I've bought for my husband, and the quality is much better. My husband has a large, tall head, and most one-size-fits-all hats are too small for him, but the Brixton XL fit perfectly. The black material is very dark black, there is additional padding on the inside, and the outside material has a texture to it. Both of the hats I bought had a black band on the inside (forehead) that hides dirt and oils, which I think is a good thing. br>br>I hope this information aids you in your decision-making process.
If you don't have the same head size as me, which is a Large in every other hat, this hat is perfect for you. I purchased three of these in sizes Med, Large, and Xlarge, and they all don't fit; the Med is way too small, and the Xlarge is way too large - which I purchased after the Med, assuming that I would need an XL to fit based on the size of the Med - Then I went ahead and bought the Large, which was just a smidgeon smaller. I could basically wear the XL with my entire hand, the large with five fingers, and the med with none at all. For it to be so messed up, I'm guessing the different sizes are manufactured in different factories in different counties.
Overall, I'm pleased with the hat, but not overly so. I had to use a blowdryer to remove a crease where you fold and snap the front of the hat when I first got it. It was horribly noticeable (puffy on one side) and could still be improved. Also, the cool little decal/pin on the back of the hat does not appear to be the same as it does in the photo. Mine is a blank pin with very small brixton letters on the side. The image clearly shows a Brixton Decal, so this is disappointing. It's a comfortable hat, and those who claim it's dark grey are mistaken. Perhaps a shade darker than shown in the photo, but by no means "dark grey. ".
This model Cap has been in my possession for more than a year. I am very happy with the purchase I made a year ago. This week, I bought another, the same size, brand, and style as the first. (Large size, Black Herringbone) I found the quality and detail in this latest purchase to be different, but not better. The "Newsboy" style I found in the cap I bought a year ago had changed to a "sort of" cross between "Newsboy" and a cartoonish Donald Duck sailor cap, so Brixton must have switched manufacturers. This latest purchase was larger on one side than the other, so it could have been a "one-off. " I gave it back to you.
The hat is lovely, but I measured my head and it fit into a size large (according to the size chart). It was, however, far too large. The hat would stay pointed straight ahead if I quickly turned my head. Rather than dealing with a return and possibly ending up with a medium size that would have been too small, I took it to a tailor and had him size it down to fit properly. That added $15 to the total. 00, but it's money well spent in my opinion.
artisanship- It looked EXACTLY the same as his grandfather's - If you're looking for'modern,' this may seem odd, but if you're looking for classic, it's a different story. You've figured it out! The only issue? Because of the high quality, it fits true to size, so I'll have to exchange it for a small because the medium was too big.
At the hat factory, the hat liner was ripped open and shipped that way. Quality control is a disaster. This is a low-cost hat with a Brixton pin pinned to it. Unripped, it's not worth the asking price, let alone half of it. I didn't ask for a substitute. A refund is on the way.
