Because of the pleats and the increased U-shape, the pants have a little extra room. They are great fitting, stylish, and durable pants with a cut seat and crotch and an expandable waistband.
These are great pants, I wasn't sure at first because I only ordered one pair, but once I got them and tried them on, I realized they were the perfect pants, so I ordered two more pairs. The material is very good, I'm a big guy 6'2 340lbs, and there's plenty of room in the crotch area, and they're durable and will hold up! 5*****
Despite the fact that they have a white interior pocket, these may be my favorite pair of pants I've ever purchased. They're lightweight in the summer and warm in the winter. There aren't any excessively small pockets. The fabric has a certain amount of "give" or stretch to it. In addition, the cross hatch pattern has caught my eye.

Haggar I am currently 5'11" and 265 pounds, so a 45" waist and 31" inseam are required. These came with matching Haggar's in 46x32, which I bought together. Both look and feel the same, and they're both fantastic. The Haggar's, on the other hand, have a button on the inside and outside of the zipper, which is appreciated. Nice material, loose cut, lots of belt loops, not too tight in the crotch, etc. Inside the zipper on the Van Heusens, there is only a button. The interiors of both pockets are roomy, which is the other difference. The Haggars have a charcoal grey striped lining, while the Van Heusens have a black striped lining that is not visible. Both options appear to be excellent. Haggar is depicted in this image. Above the zipper on the Van Heusens, there is only an interior button and a metal hook. Both are very nice, once again.
The fit of these pants suits the way my son wears his pants (and his ego thinking he is slightly smaller) because larger men often wear their pants below what we women consider our waist. Because of the high quality of the pant and the reasonable price (especially if you keep track of prices for a while), I ordered several pairs of van heusen. These are far superior to anything else I've seen. Big men, too, enjoy looking their best. To be honest, I'm only going to look at Van Heusen in pants from now on. I also like Amazon's free returns policy for many of its clothing items (but read the fine print; not all returns are free). We've tried other brands, but these are the only ones that have met our expectations. When you get to these larger sizes, finding the right fit is just as difficult for men as it is for women.
J. sold me these Van Heusen slacks in tan (also gray). For the past 12 years, I've worked for J. C. Penney. These slacks were comfortable and had enough room in them without being loose, but they were no longer available at our local JCP, and they were not listed on the JCP website. The material and stitching are excellent, and the expandable waist is a huge plus, allowing for more room at the waist. I'll be buying more from Amazon in the future. I also liked how the lengths were all combined into one. two-inch measurements instead of two-inch measurements inch. The only criticism of these slacks is that they aren't summer-appropriate. friendly. They are usually hot unless you are inside with air conditioning. They are, however, fantastic in the spring, fall, and winter. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> br>I recently bought a pair of Van Heusen slacks in tan and gray. I'm not sure if the manufacturing process had changed or what, but my size had increased significantly. The crotch material almost hung to my knees because of the size. I had to return them and order the next size down in the waist, which I have yet to receive, but I am hoping will solve the problem. It's also not like I've lost a significant amount of weight. I previously bought and wore a 42 waist size. I had to tighten my belt far too much because the waist was too big. They've always had a little more room than similar-quality pants, and the extra material in the pleating has been appreciated. However, there was simply too much material this time. When the order is replaced, I'll post another update.
I had no intention of purchasing these pants. But, unfortunately, my cousin passed away, and we had to attend his funeral. Recently, my husband took up smoking. He applied the Lays Method to his situation. He gave up cigarettes in favor of potato chips, and guess what? His old pants no longer fit. He's also 6'4" and wears pants, so finding clothes that fit him is akin to discovering Atlantis' lost city. Amazon, on the other hand, is always willing to help. We were able to get same-day service with a single click of the mouse. These miracle pants will be delivered the next day. He adores them, to be honest. They're well-made and have a good fit. He wanted to order more, but I made him go on a diet until his old pants fit again.
They accidentally sent Haggar pants, which are very different. These pants are a favorite of my husband's and he wears them on a daily basis. I usually buy them at JC Penney, but they were sold out in the size and colors he wanted, so I was thrilled to find them on Amazon with free/fast shipping and no crazy JCP timed sales or discount codes to deal with. The Van Heusen pants I ordered were all exactly what I wanted, but I did receive one pair of Haggar pants that were not. Although I've heard they're interchangeable, the grey VH pants are a dark charcoal color. My husband will not wear the grey or "graphite" Haggar pants because they are much lighter. I'll have to return them and hope that this time they send me the correct pair of pants.
My husband is 6' 2" tall and has a large stomach. He has a 36-inch inseam. The 38X36 was purchased by me. Tall men with a gut and long, skinny legs should avoid the pleated dress slacks. They're made for big butts and tall men with thick legs. The pants had a 38 inseam, which was far too long. We were going to keep them, but we decided that they didn't look tidy or professional. I, too, didn't want to pay for a tailor. More than hemming would be required for the pants. Do not purchase if you are not a true big man. Tall and big men aren't the same thing.
They're high-quality dress pants that flex and move with me no matter how I move. When I squat in other pants, the knees pull and I have to pull the pant legs up to be able to move freely. I'm not having that problem with these. They have a button and a metal clasp to close them twice. The waistband has an overlapping panel with an elastic band on the sides for flex and give, making it ideal for both tall and short men. Seriously, every time I put them on, I'm reminded of MIB's remark that "it's time to put on the last suit you'll ever wear. " I'm only going to wear these pants from now on. It's very relaxing. I strongly advise you to purchase them.
First, they're pleated, which adds a nice touch. It's extremely difficult to come across something like that. They're extremely comfortable to wear thanks to this and the expandable waistband. They have a sophisticated appearance. They have a good drape, which is crucial for formal wear. Wear it with a sport coat and you'll be ready to go. Only. and I only mean that. a disadvantage It is a light fabric. Perhaps not for everyday use in January. In the north, it's February.
