Hubby is a big fan of these tanks and has requested more. He's a choosy individual. The armholes aren't too big, which he values, and the neck is roomy enough. They're just the right size. He's 6'1" and has to buy a long a lot of the time. I like the colors and how easy they are to care for. They must be taken out of the dryer as soon as possible or they will wrinkle, but dewrinkle spray works well on these.
For your taller or longer-waisted gentlemen, this is an excellent fit. It's very soft and easy to clean. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the fabric isn't as sturdy as I would expect from something so soft, but that's to be expected with something so soft. Having said that, I can say that my husband wears them in the shop and that they have held up well. I've washed them several times and they remain in good condition. In general, I'm pleased.
Are you planning on sweating or doing something fun in the hot summer sun while wearing these shirts? Now it's time to move onto the next tank. When I started sweating, this shirt literally fell to the ground. It turned into a t-shirt, to be sure. My girlfriend would put on a t-shirt dress.
Why do manufacturers assume that anyone wearing a 2X is over 7 feet tall? I wear a 2X because of my stomach, not because I'm as tall as LeBron James. I'm at a loss as to how to proceed. Maybe I'll take a pair of scissors to it and cut it down to size.
I like everything about this shirt except the fact that as the day goes on, the arm strangely seems to stretch out and become loose/flappy. It looks great right out of the dryer, but there's something wrong with the way it was made because by the end of the day, the arm holes look more like a muscle shirt than a tank. As a result, I deducted one star.
Really soft, good thickness, but it's a long one! In addition, shipping on this color was extremely slow. Both of the colors I ordered came from the same vendor, according to my research. It took a week longer this time. I shortened it using my sewing machine.
