I believe the actual shirt size was generous given my husband's weight and description but he is about 5' 11" tall. I went with the 17 1/2 for him because he is about the same height as I am, but he wears a 17 1/2.
There is a regular fit to it
This shirt's "size chart" seems to be a type of universal size chart provided by both the shirt maker and Amazon, regardless of whether it is a short- or long-sleeved shirt. A sleeved shirt. As a general rule, when purchasing a shirt (I've bought many of them), length of the collar and sleeve determine the size. S-sized shirts can be sold only when they come in the more broad S-sized And so on. They get chest measurements based on their sizes. As for dress shirts, in addition to the sleeve and neck size, you will also see that they have a full cut, tailored fit, slim fit, etc. Probably there is an implied presumption that stated neck sizes are always matched with accepted chest sizes. If I take a 15 neck, I would like a 5" width The shirt is a 38-39, which I think equates to a medium It is usually called a Medium since it has a chest size of 40. I find it easy to use. In my experience, a given neck size for this Van Huesen shirt is not necessarily a given chest size. The 15" neck I ordered was quite roomy in the chest and torso, probably more like a 40" chest than a 38" chest. Despite the fact that you have asked, I doubt anyone will be able to give you a concrete answer regarding this particular shirt. It probably depends on which factory and country I know it may not be a helpful answer, but I'm guessing most people would want to order something like this by referring to the neck size and hoping it fits well throughout. As a reminder, this is a full-length movie I think you can expect it to be on the roomy side, because of the cut.
My height and weight are different so I probably can't do well with something like this, but I am an XL and the 205 pound size is perfect. There is plenty of room for my neck through the neck tie, and the quality of the shirt is fantastic.

Once it has been altered, it is a great shirt. Most manufacturers assume that a man who doesn't want to be strangled by his collar, so he orders a larger collar size, is also bigger everywhere else in his body. The short sleeve slim/tailored fit you are looking for online is nearly impossible to find! So I bought this one for my husband and shortened it Thanks to a French-style side seam, the jacket was not torn This was an easy process since the seams were sewn. How does it come to pass that men's dress shirts are sold in tightly packaged, multiple-piece cardboard boxes with Without having to take out ten minutes to undo all the changes, it totally prevents trying the outfit on for size. Making it difficult for it to be re-created If that package needs to be returned, please do so within 14 days. There is no way a woman would put up with such treatment.
I thought I had found a short-sleeve version of the dress shirts I wear to work during the winter months. When I put this on, I could wrap one side around both sides simultaneously on both sides directly in the middle of my sides, so it should be called 'Big enough for two' since regular fit should really be called 'Big enough for two'. As a result of how wide this shirt was, the sleeves fell about three inches below my elbow when tucked in. I was shocked by the fitting, and then the top-notch finishing touch? There is a similar 'fitted' shirt by the same brand in the description. However, it is long sleeved, so the comparison is not valid. Although I wanted to stick with Van Heusen since their fitted dress shirts are perfect, there were a couple of problems. This means I have to find another brand. I'm so sorry to have to return them.
After spending a couple of hours at multiple shops, I realized I could not find this shirt. It was short sleeve, not buttoned, white, and Van Heusen. I had an epiphany. It will no longer be possible to purchase goods in Using Amazon, I was able to find what I needed in less than 5 minutes. In comparison to the stores, the price wasn't as high, and I received my shirt within one week.
I wear this shirt in my office since they keep the temperature up really high. It's a bit more comfortable than my other shirts. Fabric is decent and the fit is a bit loose, but not too loose. In my complaint I am unhappy with the needles that come with the kits. These needles are very hard to get out, so I am impressed that they are able to do what they do. There was a hidden needle in the shirt, so it may just be me, but I was having difficulty opening the shirt. Despite being able to sense it, I could not locate On one of my sleeves, there was a rip in the fabric. At the moment, Amazon doesn't appear to allow photos, so I will not add any here. A pull on the sleeve that is almost an inch long and quite noticeable. This needle is not necessary to be used. The shirt folds are held together with paperclips I have purchased in the past.
The products Van Heusan make are of high quality. There is no exception to that with these shirts. This shirt came from Amazon Prime at a great price and arrived quickly. For men, attaching the top button on a tie is difficult. I went up one half size in the neck from 17 to 18 since the top button on most shirts is not easy to fasten. Half an 18 is equal to 1/2 I left the top three buttons unfastened when I dressed for church on Sunday, and made it a simple matter to fasten the top collar button, then fasten the remaining two. There is magic. Easy to do. This is a shirt I'll be ordering more of.
A Van Heusen short-sleeve button-down shirt from the 80s is one of my favorite shirts A grey pinstriped dress shirt in black with a down collar. We had a hard time locating other short-sleeve items from them, but were delighted to finally find this one. I purchased the same 16 from the same store. I bought a medium grey size 5s, and it is a very nice shirt in terms of design and comfort. Fitting isn't quite the same, however. The neck part of the outfit seems tighter and the body part seems looser. It is almost as snug as an extra-large A large scale. While the sleeve length and chest fit of the shirt are great, it is too long in the lower half and bells out when worn untucked (that is how I wear most of Although I am still fond of the shirt, the fit is not as pleasing as my old Van Heusen shirt. It is never my style to wear slim-cut clothes When I bought my old shirt probably 15 years ago, I was even trying to fit it. As long as it is looser, I will still keep this shirt on hand to wear in the summer since I usually wear looser XL shirts with shorts in the summer and L shirts with pants in the fall and winter.
There is little difference between these shirts and an ordinary garbage bag in terms of fabric quality. This is the shirt for you if you like shirts that crinkle and ratchet as you walk and hold in your body heat as well as showing off your perspiration. The natural fibers and comfort will be gone, meaning you will hear a bunch of sweat crinkling and even be embarrassed. In the article, we advise you to remember global warming is an issue, and these shirts are made of petroleum. I'm not kidding, what do you think polyester is once again. You shouldn't try to put a shirt in your gas tank since polyester is a petroleum product. You will have to trust me that much. you should definitely wear this shirt if you want to raise the temperature of the Earth, make crinkly sounds when you walk and be able to hold in all your body heat while wearing short sleeves in summer.
However, it does not fit my neck since I am a size The collar on this shirt is 5 inches, the largest they offer, so I can't button it up around my 19-inch chest quite comfortably. An average neck size of 5 inches. What would I gain by doing so? In order to wear an open collar with this shirt, the neck size should be large, otherwise the rest of the shirt would be enormous. On my six foot, 240 pound frame, it fits loose but well during the warm days of summer [ 52 inch chest, 40 inch waist ]
Be careful when unpacking, there are 8 pins with sharp points, many labels, and wrinkles to consider. The skin is wrinkled, of course! Were you not aware that the label stated that the garment was wrinkle free? This is true. I don't have any wrinkles!.
