I'm not sure why the other person who responded said, "I'm not sure, but." ", but the answer to your question is "the pants are above the natural waistline and do not have a waistband; instead, they have darts." Pants that came up to your bellybutton are being brought back in the 1930s and 1940s.
The pockets on the sides are 6 inches wide.
As a recent U.S. resident, I can attest to the fact that I disagree with the comment that the Olive Drab version is the color of US military uniforms and vehicles, as an Army retiree. This "olive drab" is more of a dark gray than the traditional olive drab worn by the US military.

I'm not a big fan of buying clothes online without trying them on first, but I needed some pants for work outside and decided to take a chance. Because they're still new, I can't comment on their durability, but they're extremely comfortable. The stitching is strong, the zipper works well, and the pockets are large and useful. The fabric is very light and flexible, and the pants are true to size. I'm 5'10" tall and weigh 130 pounds. I'm 175 pounds and ordered the same 32x32 size as all of my other pants, and it fits perfectly. So far, everything has gone well.
Low-cost and long-lasting. I was a little hesitant because these are different from what I usually buy, but OMG, they are so comfortable! I'm a delivery driver, so I'm constantly getting in and out of trucks and getting up and down on my knees, and these are fantastic! They're fantastic. Time will tell whether they last as long as their predecessor, which I've always worn.
Every color appealed to me, and I wanted to purchase them all. The small amount of elastic blend works perfectly. They stayed in place without binding up certain areas while I was bending, squatting, stretching, and so on in the workshop. I even went with a waist size that was an inch smaller than what I usually wear in Wrangler cargo. It's also very light and airy. br>How about a disclaimer? The redesigned "technology" pocket has been placed in the incorrect location! A holster is ideal for phone access and walking, in my opinion. It's positioned further forward on the leg in these. It's not from the side or the top, but from the inside out. between. When I'm walking, my phone is just above my kneecap. When I'm sitting, I can't take it out of my pocket. The phone is tucked into the front pocket. Anything you put in that pocket will be smashed against your thigh by the phone. br> I won't be returning them (they were grease stained on the first day), but I won't be purchasing them again in that style. I'll look for the same material the next time I need to replace my pants.
Walmart used to sell Wrangler cargos, which I used to buy. I was having trouble finding my size and a color that I liked until I found these. My waist size is 36, and it will vary slightly. These pants have more flex in the waistband and a better fit than other Wranglers. It shouldn't be too loose or too tight. I only purchased one in order to test it out. I immediately placed a second order for two more.
I prefer pants that fit around my waist rather than halfway down my buttocks. I understand that this saves them fabric and money, and it's a "style," but I'm more concerned with functionality. That's what they're called.
I set out on a quest to find the ideal gift for someone special. Cargo pants for me. These were almost the overall winner, beating out pants that cost much more, and were only beaten out by a very similar pair of Wrangler cargo pants that have ONE feature I love that these pants don't. br>br>These pants are awesome. I gave them back to you. With deep regret. Only because I wanted to match them with these Wrangler pants, which are very similar but (in my opinion) slightly better: "Wrangler Authentics Men's Classic Twill Relaxed Fit Cargo Pant, Black, 34W x 30L," says the description. A tactical cell phone pocket is inset into the side flap pocket of these other awesome Wrangler pants on the R side only. It's a large enough pocket for my OnePlus 6 phone to fit comfortably. The only issue is that I prefer to keep my phone in a pocket on my left side. It turns out that both the L and R sides of the Wrangler "Classic Twill Cargo Pants" have a "tactical cell phone pocket" inset above and behind the flap pocket. So I can keep my phone in the left side pocket and my keys in the right side pocket with THOSE. The tactical cell phone pocket on THESE was only on the R side. br>br>OK, so why not just put my phone in the left pant leg flap pocket? Yes, I could, and it would be perfectly acceptable. br>Phone and its radiation are kept further away from family heirlooms in the flap pocket, which is a good thing. BUT, because the tactical cell phone pocket makes it SO EASY to slide my phone in and out, I chose it. My phone will not accidentally fall out if I do all of this while holding it in an extremely secure manner. br>br>These pants were fantastic in every other way. Very comfortable, great fit, sizing that is correct for me, and high-quality fabric and construction. These pants would be my go-to if Wrangler didn't have another style with TWO tactical cell phone pockets. I'd buy three pairs to wear on a regular basis, and I'd keep three of them.
The pants are very comfortable to wear. The material is quite thin. However, the sizing is where I have a problem. These are a 40x32; I usually wear a 38x32, but went a size up to be more comfortable when stuffing my shirt in, etc. My issue is that they only fit if I pull the waistband up over my bellybutton. Now, I understand that this was the way people wore their pants in the early 1900s, but no one has worn their pants that high for the better part of the last 50 years. As a result, I placed an order for a 38x30 print. I can wear them like regular pants because they're still a little big around the waist and crotch. br>If you prefer to wear your pants like a regular person, order your normal waist size and a length that is a size shorter to avoid looking and walking like a penguin. br>Recent changes: The pants are all quickly becoming outdated, with the color fading and the material showing signs of wear. Some areas are becoming thinner, and holes are beginning to appear. These are only worn when I'm driving, mind you.
My son is picky, and it's difficult for him to find the right size. These fit perfectly and are true to size; I've washed them and they haven't wrinkled at all.
