Questions & Answers

A US product based on an imported one?

This is an old question, but for anyone who isn't aware of it, I'm going to answer it. On the company's website, Carhartt has two of these pants almost identical to each other. The same colors and prices are nearly identical as well. There's one type of ionizer that's imported, whereas these ones are made in the US. A great way to discover if the pants are American made is to specify the B01 product code.

There are no women's versions of this style. What are the chances of women liking this style?

Dungarees with a slim fit and a double front from Series 1889. Searching on Amazon led me to this page. It would be interesting for me to see what they have for women. There are a lot of boxes in the waist of the men's pants.

Can you tell me if these are lined or not?

There is no lining in them. Despite their heavy duty nature, they're quite cozy.

Could you tell me what knee pad insert I should use for 34W ?

It would be best to go with

You should proceed with caution when ordering
3/5

Having worked for Carhartt for over 25 years, I love this However, these pants weren't the best for me. In all jeans and pants, I wear an EU 34. As a result, I ordered a 34 waist and was in for a surprise. The waistline was painted on and could not There was almost a slim fit throughout most of the upper portion of the pant. After the zipper, everything below the zipper was sized for some hybrid mythological creature made out of Giraffe and elephant tree trunks. The inseam was about 2 feet 6 inches. A 32 L would typically fit me better if it were three inches longer. My stubbornness was a result of the fact that I needed these things. It would have been fine if I had resized and returned 100%, but instead I cut the pants to the length I wanted and took the waist off so I could breathe. (I already wear a belt so it will work just fine. In almost every case, it all comes down to trial and error. The quality of Carhartt's products is well known, but the sizes and the descriptions are misleading. CAUTION SHOULD BE USED WHEN ORDERING.

The leg I was saving was saved
5/5

This is the pants to wear if you are going to be using a chainsaw and don't want to deal with chaps. There is a chance that you can avoid an ER visit if you use these very thick pads. The saw caught my leg as I was cutting trees on my property. I lost my footing and lost control of the saw. Here is a photo of the attached file. There was only a small cut on my knee, which could have been mine. My chain just got sharper after I put a new chain on. It's been a pleasure working with carhartt! Thanks! I will order again in the future.

Would you weld for me? There is a need for My search for a pair of pants that can withstand the rigorous work I do in the welding industry led me to several different styles and models
5/5

I agree! These are exactly what I need! In addition to being thick, durable, and comfortable, these shoes are also very comfortable. Although I have welded in these pants for five months, I am yet to burn a complete hole through them. It's got lots of burns, but the burns are thick enough to seriously ricochet sparks, flames, etc. right off of Having these tools in the welding department is lifesaving. I highly recommend it.

Take a look around if in doubt
4/5

The focus of this review will be on the fit of these pants rather than the quality, as I've always been impressed with the durability of Carhartt products. First, I own a variety of different styles of carhartt pants. One of my latest is a pair of raw denim loggers, I believe they're B07s. As I got those in 34x30s, I almost swam in them, so I assumed it would be the same with the B01 style. It was a bit tight when I ordered my first pair in 34x30. It had been my hope that with wear, the straps would loosen. After washing and drying them, the finishing move was to store In fact, they shrunk so much that I gave them to my girlfriend and ordered a size up, 36x30. I would suggest the following method if you ordered the size you normally wear and they seemed tight to you, just return them and order a size up.

The product is only for men who fit the "model" stereotype
3/5

Unlike other underwear, these are not made for women, there is no play, there is no stretch, the waist is extremely tight, and if you're like me, short and overweight, you can't find anything in any sizing that will I have a 34x30 Levi 505 that fits me perfectly, and then try it on these the waist won't even go around my thighs, I ordered 36 waist and 38 waist, and they were both hard to wear, the thighs and butts were also way too big. The pants fit me because I got a 40 waist. My pants were way longer than the 30" inseam after taking into account the elephant sized thighs they made these for. Mind you, I wear a 34 levi. Considering the sizing on the pants is all over the place on quality, I can't understand what they are doing with these pants. It is necessary to pre-shrink this material before cutting and sizing pants out of it. have never heard of a company advising customers to order four sizes up in order to get the right fit.

Exactly what I remember about this product! As a carpenter, I wore them when I was a teenager and they have been out of my closet for over 15 years
5/5

Since I am now in the business of welding, fabricating, mechanicing, and maintaining a fleet of car haulers, I have been in the market for work wear whose demand is very high. In reading some of the negative reviews on here, I was a bit wary of Carhartt. However, based on reviews for this particular pair of pants, I decided to buy them. It was fantastic!

I can't tell you how impressed I am. They are just like the pants I used to wear when I was a child. Their waistbands are comfortably firm, while all of the other areas have the right amount of looseness and flexibility. As for climbing trailers all night, crawling under trucks, welding in unusual positions, and crawling out of car windows- I must do all these things in order to secure loads. This pair of pants is exactly what I've been looking for. One of the major factors that determine us to choose these pants is Carhartt's wise decision to move production back to the U. S. My love for Red Wings boots is also the reason I keep buying them. The higher the quality of the materials and craftsmanship, the more I'll pay- As well as that, it butters another American loaf as well, so it is a triple win.

This pair of pants has a bit of a long inseam, I'll be able to use them for a lot longer because they won't fray out at the bottom and I can use them longer on my legs. Please sign me up for a few more, I am in need of more Carhartt workwear as well - We have jackets, hoodies, etc.

After wearing two pairs of these 7 days a week for a year and 4 months under very harsh conditions, it took me a year and 4 months to wear out the two pairs. First new pair I completed my reorder, and I forgot what a great fit they have when they are This is a favorite pair of pants as long as they continue to make The toughest of the tough! This is an update as of 10/08/20 Since I bought these pants 5 years ago, I haven't bought anything else- As a result, they are regularly in stock, they arrive fast, and the quality and price are excellent, as they have not fluctuated in price by much. It won't make sense for me to stop buying them as long as they keep making them!.

I had not expected that it would take so long
3/5

Fit is very nice around the waist and they are true to size. The 30" length is usually a comfortable fit for me with a little extra leg length, but not too much. It is not the case with these pants because they are equivalent to a size 34 , note I got the size The bottom of them will need to be folded up even if I wear them extra-high on the waist, which I won't be doing because it wouldn't be comfortable, and they will still be too long. Five-tenths of an inch and around 220 pounds describe my height and weight. After receiving them, I am extremely disappointed in the fit and will not bother ordering work pants online anymore.
