It is likely that you have a larger waist than 36 inches in US size 36, so you might be able to fit in size L (waist 38"), with length (inseam) = 32 inches

When I bought my first pair, I did not read the sizing and some comments. As soon as I read that they are made for smaller people, I ordered an XXL (duh). In my case, I filed for a return and they handled it extremely well. Mostly I fit into a size 38, but some stretch pants go up to a size It weighs 218 pounds and is 6' tall. My pants were shipped the next morning and fit great. Those are rarely the type of pants you can find with leg lengths like this. The length that I tend to end up with is 32", but I prefer the harder to find 34". Perfect! Our order is for two more colors that are between 33 and 34. However, the pockets are missing their buttons Thank goodness for Velcro as I hate it. It would have been easier if the button didn't fly. It would be better with a zipper, but most of these pants are very good so I'll put up.

This is a smaller size than whats on the website

The cargo pants are well made and the colour is a great match. We regret to inform you that the waist measurement is smaller than what is noted. It had a waist measurement of about 35 inches when I bought a size large. Since I wear a 36 inch waist Levi's, I know. There may be a need for some quality control.

It's awesome to wear pants. The company is great because I bought my first pair in a large size as I wasn't sure what size would fit perfectly. I was amazed at how big they were. Instead of the old ones, a Medium for Free was substituted.
