Yes, the waistband is stretchy.
Technically, I believe they are gray, but they appear to be very close to black to me.
Yessss. These pants are absolutely incredible. They stretch around the waist when you bend down, bend your knees, or get in and out of your car. No need to be concerned.

If I had to rate these solely on the basis of fit, comfort, and quick drying, I would give them a perfect five stars. br>br>In those respects, the pants are exactly what I was looking for. The fabric's durability along the inseam is where I'm disappointed. After a 12-mile walk, the fabric along the crotch and inside of the thighs was visibly worn. I don't expect light-weight synthetics to last as long as heavier materials, but when they show more wear after 12 miles of walking than my lighter-weight running shorts after 200 miles of running, it's worth noting. br>br>If you need a quick-drying pant for light use or a weekend in a damp environment, these could be ideal; however, don't expect them to last for multiple outings or long hikes. br>br>I really like these, but I was surprised at how quickly they started to show signs of wear.
This is almost a 5-star rating (which is huge for me). I'm a casual hiker with a variety of hiking pants in my collection. They're very light weight, breathable, comfortable, and so on; however, as much as I enjoy wearing them, I don't wear them every day because, well, they look like hiking pants. I found a few nylon/polyester "travel" pants that looked nice and comfy, but they were all over $100. I also came across a pair of hiking pants that looked nicer than usual but were only available in small, medium, and large sizes; Pants that fit me properly must have specific waist/inseam sizes. Then I came across these, which I am currently in love with. Despite the fact that they are not a dress pant, I think they are a good-looking casual pant. The nylon is a little thicker than that of a hiking pant, which gives it more structure. I like the fit; it's not as slim as my hikers, but it's more trim and less baggy. Despite this, it is still extremely adaptable and comfortable. The pockets are my only gripe. They're all a little small; I have a large phone, and it barely fits in the front and side pockets. And the back pockets are my biggest gripe. Again, because the pocket is small, my bifold wallet fits, but only if it is close to the top. This, combined with the fact that the back pocket is a little loose, makes me believe it's a pickpocket's dream. These pants would be a 5 star if the back pocket was slightly larger and had a zipper, velcro, or button closure.
For a long time, I've been looking for a dependable, low-cost, and well-equipped vehicle. Fitting travel/hiking pants with strong technical features but not an overly "technical look. " "By that, I mean I didn't want large flapped cargo pockets, zip-up pockets, or anything like that. " off the legs, or logos strewn across the pants I need pants that I can wear for gardening or a strenuous hike, but that I can also pack for travel and wear out on vacation without looking too baggy. They should have some stretch and dry quickly so that they can be hand-washed on the go. br>br>These Wrangler ATG pants are perfect for the job. They are quick to dry, have a nice appearance, and have proven to be extremely useful. The only thing that screams "utility pants" is the one deep leg pocket, but it's big enough for my phone, keeps it close to my thigh without dangling down to my knee (which would be a deal breaker), and it zips closed and doesn't stand out too much when zipped. The rest of the pockets are unlocked - Zippers and fasteners are not included - However, because the front pockets are tight and stretchy, I frequently keep my phone in them instead of using the zippered pocket. br>br>They aren't perfect; I'd prefer a slightly narrower waistband (as seen in the photos). the waist flares out a tad), and the lower-leg It would be more flattering if it rose to the waist level. br>br>These ATGs are available in a variety of sizes and lengths, so you should be able to find one that fits you well. Don't order a size larger than you need. I'm 5' 9 1/2" tall and weigh 165 pounds, with a 32-inch waist. The waist is 33" and the inseam is 31". I ordered the 32"W/30"L, and the fit was good all over except for the waist, which was a little big due to the stretch fabric. I found it to be the perfect size. There is no room for error. Just a little bit of stretch. They can be worn without a belt, but because of the stretchiness, you wouldn't want to tuck a shirt in without one. The "morel" color and the "bungee cord" color are nearly identical, as you can see in the photos. I ordered both, and the latter had slightly shorter legs - More than likely, it's a matter of quality control. However, both are attractive and adaptable styles. I've been keeping an eye on the prices and plan to order more colors when they fall below $35, which seems to happen quite frequently.
I wear these pants in a business casual setting as well as while enjoying the great outdoors because they are true to size, durable, comfortable, and versatile. I promise you won't be disappointed with these pants; Wrangler hit it out of the park with this one.
This pair of pants is amazing. They're water-resistant, stretchy, and functional, as well as looking great and feeling great. The pockets are a little on the small side (I have a Galaxy S9 and while it fits, there is no room for anything else in that front pocket) and a little on the difficult side to access, but this isn't a big deal because I don't have to worry about anything falling out like I do with other pants, and the pants have enough stretch to accommodate without being uncomfortable. For those with a more "tactical" purpose, the belt loops are thick and sturdy. My only concern is that the material is a little too stretchy for actual "tactical" purposes, as they MAY not hold up to a full load out (I can't confirm because I haven't tried, but I believe they would easily hold a compact pistol with a decent belt. )I'm 6 feet 185 pounds. 32x34 is the perfect size for me. I purchased two pairs and intend to purchase more in the future. Once I've formed a firm opinion, I'll try to provide an update on durability and conceal carry. These are great pants if you just need a solid work pant for a semi-professional environment or to go golfing, hiking, or shooting without needing anything truly "tactical. ".
