Questions & Answers

Will your boys be squashed by these pants? I also require a significant amount of leg and seat space. ?

I can't speak for myself, but my husband needs roomy pants and these fit him perfectly.

Is there a cuff on the hems?

There were no cuffs on the hems. I purposefully purchased pants that were too long for me and had them hemmed to fit, but they are still nice and I wear them every day.

I'm looking for the calf width of a pair of pants. for a W48 L32 size?

To get that information, you'll need to contact the slacks' manufacturers or find someone who owns a pair of slacks in your exact size and is willing to measure them for you.

Is it better to wear them above or below the waistline?

They come to a point just below my waist.

The quality is good, but there isn't a lot of stretch and the fit is a little tight
3/5

DXL Male is where I get my Harbor Bay and Oak Hill pants on a regular basis. They have those great hidden elastic waistbands that keep your britches snug when you're standing or sitting. They have approximately 1. Stretch ranges from 5 to 2 inches, which is fantastic. Although these Amazon pants are well-made, I would estimate that they only have about 1-inch of leg room. a single inch of stretch Also, these were a little on the snug side, with a little tightness in the crotch. br>br>So, to summarize: If you're a small-business owner, These are ideal for you, regardless of your size. If that's the case, you might want to go up a size. Everything else about them, by the way, is very nice. For the price, it's a great deal.

Order a size up for the thighs because they run small
4/5

Slacks were worn to the office. Because the thighs were cut too small, I had to order a waist size that was too large in order to find thighs that fit.

There are far too many "cuts" that are only a few seconds long
3/5

These pants were clearly designed for "Big and Tall Asians," not "Big and Tall North Americans," despite the fact that they were advertised for "Big and Tall" men. It appears that a number of attempts were made to save money by reducing the amount of cloth used. When you sit, the pants "tug" at your knees because the legs narrow down far too sharply. They "bind" exactly where you don't want them to bind if you bend over forwards! Furthermore, while there are plenty of belt loops, the distance between the first and second loops is far too great, causing the pants to "bunch up" between those points. I've found that all men's pants made in Asia have the same problems, so I was hoping that "Amazon Essentials" would be different. They get the waist and inseam measurements about right, but the rest of the measurements are more in line with what a much smaller Asian man would require; I would not recommend these pants to an American man!.

I usually get George brand slacks from a "Mart" with "Walls," if you understand what I mean
3/5

They're about half the price there, but I was going to order something from Amazon anyway, so I thought I'd give them a shot. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no My 50x30 George slacks are light and airy. There's no way out of these. They're as tight as a b****. They must be two or three sizes smaller than my preferred brand, and the material is thinner, with pockets that are too shallow and wide, almost as if they were stitched in sideways. br>br>They're made of cheap s**t, but they're only mediocrely priced. My George slacks are of average quality, but they're cheap as hell. Don't buy these if you can help it. Instead, go to the Mart of Walls and purchase their slacks. br>br>How come these are getting so many good reviews? Either Amazon has chat bots bloating product reviews, or there are a lot of people out there who enjoy wearing bad pants.

Keep an eye out for this flaw; one of the pants I purchased had a manufacturing flaw in which the elastic was not completely sewn on
3/5

Mark 1 is a tear in the elastic that corresponds to mark 2. As you can see in 3 and 4, the rest of the elastic appears to have come loose from the waistband; however, I found another pair that seem to fit fine and that I like. I'll probably order more, but I don't think I'll be able to return these because I didn't wear them right away. And, to be honest, I didn't notice what had happened the first time I wore them; it wasn't until later that I noticed the problem.

After trying out about 8 different pairs of khaki pants using Amazon's free wardrobe trial period to see which ones offered the most comfort, quality, and price, I settled on these and have been very happy with them so far
4/5

I had hoped for a slightly thicker material, but it's adequate for the price. I used to work for the company that makes these pants, so I knew they had a track record of producing high-quality products, and the price on Amazon was a steal compared to what you'd pay in a store. They're a good fit for me, and I'm hoping to get at least a year of use out of them before having to replace them. These are work pants for me, so they'll be worn and washed at least once a week, so they'll see a lot of action in a short period of time. I'm crossing my fingers.

Not at all what they said
3/5

The pants were advertised as "loose fit," but they didn't fit at all. The thighs were extremely tight and had no give, and the waist was fine, but these were not loose-fitting pants. I'll hand them back to you.

Overall, it's not too bad
3/5

Pockets that are tiny. These are actually quite good for the money. The overall quality appears to be satisfactory. The stitching appears to be in good condition. They appeared to be on the larger side, so keep that in mind. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. br>br>A major (or minor) issue is the small size of the pockets. It's barely big enough to hold a smaller phone. Money and keys seem to be on the verge of falling out all the time. I wouldn't buy them again if I knew this. How much would an extra inch or two of fabric cost? I'd gladly pay a buck more for regular-sized pockets.
