While preparing for deployment overseas as a contractor, I had on 11 pants at the Army base in Indiana in 2012 as I geared up for deployment. The shirts were so comfortable, breathable, and durable that I loved them instantly. In my experience, the quality of the next six I purchased was inconsistent throughout the 8 years. In contrast to my old pants, I just bought new pants from Amazon (January 2020) and I notice the fabric is very thin and the waistline is too high, and the new pants do not fit me as well as my old ones did. The reason 5 seems out of place to me is that I cannot understand it. What's up with 11 changing the design so much? Fixing something that is not broken won't make it better. The original five are still in my possession. My 11 pants are torn and totally worn down, but their fabric was thick and beautiful. It's not clear to me how tactical pants arrive so far away from home, but I do know they show up much later These pants are super long, super loose fitting and very different from what you would expect from your typical loose fitting pant. It is possible to design pattern pants or even wear 'normal' pants Their categories of Men's Wear feature a variety of cuts. I have bought 5 pairs of various pants of different brands. The best fits I have found are (in the 32x30 range) 1) Wrangler Riggs Workwear Men's Ranger Pants (Super good quality, heavy-duty) Cutting and fitting of heavy duty fabric) Cuffs only have to be put on once. The second pair are Carhartt Men's Relaxed Fit Ripstop Cargo Work Pants (although, not all of their workwear lives up to the name). The third garment on the list is Unionbay Survivor Iv Men's Relaxed Fit Cargo (not necessarily an industrial pants but heavy enough for light duty) It's important to fit well & I consider it the highest compliment A soft touch. It seems like 511 Tactical carries many different kinds of pants, but this is the only one I like, but they will not make this pant design in a different material, it makes no sense to me! It is nice they have other pant materials that do not wrinkle and are just as tough, but none of the other models fit me as well as this design and the pocket layout is not as good.
