Questions & Answers

Is there a way to remove the memory foam insole?

In comparison to other Skechers, the memory foam insole in these shoes is not nearly as bad as it is Contrary to what you might expect, they are quite acceptable. Two pair of these have been in my possession for over a year and both have had the As with all Skechers, none of them gave you that squishy feeling between your toes.

The sole of these shoes is padded with memory foam, but how cushy is the shoe? As I have the escape plan model and I am quite comfortable with it, I am wondering how it compares. ?

The exterior sole on the shoes is extremely well treaded, and they are quite comfortable. Based on my experience, they have proven to be very sturdy and comfortable shoes.

The width of these is wide enough?

The answer is yes! Skechers calls this wide fitting shoe a Wide-Fit. I have wide feet so it is difficult to find a shoe that fits it comfortably. The number of pairs I own (colors) now stands at 3 different ones. Take the time to read the product description.

Can they be used in the rain?

The shoes in this picture are not waterproof. The first step is to treat them with Skotchgard, which makes them resistant to water.

After less than three months, the couple fell apart
3/5

As a result of contacting the manufacturer, I believe that these shoes are counterfits. I recommend that you do not purchase! My shoes are falling apart to the point that they are no longer wearable. I bought them in mid-October just barely worn the soles are not even worn but both shoes are coming apart so much that.

There are design flaws with Skechers
3/5

Having worn these shoes infrequently, about 6 times during the last three months, I must point out two very annoying design flaws with Skechers Men's Terrabite Oxford. After the third use, the upper right eyelet in the top fell Compression fittings often fail for this reason. I noticed that the top left eyelet ring on my shoelace had a burr that was tearing it apart (see photo attached). The incident seems insignificant, but I'll have to buy new shoelaces now that I have to remove the eyelets. Quite annoying for a pair of shoes that cost $50 or more. is my preferred shoe brand. I purchased 6 other Skecher shoes in the last 2 years that did not have metal eyelets and did not have any The Skechers Men's Terrabite Oxford does not meet my expectations and cannot be recommended.

The Skechers Terrabite
5/5

I've been shoe shopping online, but ended up returning most of the brands I liked because the shoes were not comfortable. I expected the shoes to be great and comfortable given the high price, but they did As soon as I saw this model, I liked it but still skeptical that it might turn out to be another uncomfortable shoe since the prices are half what all the shoes I have purchased have been. When I received it, I was beyond delighted! In addition, the shoe fits well, I love its design, and best of all, it is half the cost of most other This one is a good overall choice.

This shoe is made of memory foam and is very durable
5/5

The memory foam in the shoes is wonderful, and they are made really well. They lasted me well over a year, and I am pretty hard on shoes 6- there are 2 pairs I have bought from the mall and one pair from Amazon because I knew how they fit. If you are 6 feet 230 pounds and want a well-designed, durable pair of shoes, I would recommend these I love how well made these shoes are, plus they stay cleaner and look newer for longer with a damp cloth they wipe right off. I recommend them to anyone who wants them.

I am upset
3/5

The update is There's nothing left of them. It was a waste of time. This should have been written sooner, but holiday festivities kept me away. In addition to becoming extremely uncomfortable, the toe of the shoes separated and the sole of the shoes came undone. Oh, and the concrete was from walking on it. The weather is too cold for outdoor activities. The last time is the last time. We have only worn the shirt for one week, but it has held up well so far. This is a comfortable and lightweight jacket. A good amount of 90% of the day I work on a damp or wet vinyl floor without ever slipping. Basically, my one complaint is that it's a wash, and I'll still give it a five-star rating. In the areas where they get tied every day, the shoelaces are unraveling. A set of extra shoe laces, however, was included with the shoes. There is nothing to complain about.

Insoles are thin and glued in with strong adhesive and laced short
4/5

The shoes fit as expected for a sketcher shoe. I bought them as light duty hiking boots for easy trails since my monster steel toes are too heavy and too cumbersome for milder settings, and I got tired of staining my light blue runners all the time. They're not thin or styrofoam like you'll find online now or at Ross, so if you're not a fan of modern sneakers, these are great. The sole features a textured surface for added grip An ice skate The people in these photos are not runners and arguably not walkers, though I'm placing them in that category There is no shine or noise coming from the upper part of the glass. This is what black looks like in the picture. There are only a few cons Glue is NOT required for sole retention, so if the seller is using it to cut down on loss of sole, please cut it off. It costs the manufacturer about ten cents to make those inserts. Replace it with a new one. Using pliers, I removed as much of the foam that was left behind. I then inserted my memory foam powerstep insoles and we are up and running. I EDITED It was not until I took photos for this review that I realized my powerstep insoles were stuck In order to spare the glue, I'm going to have to cut a thin, white cloth to place between them, since I switch between shoes and don't want them to get glued to each other This shoe is not very long in the toe, so it feels a bit pinchy at the big toe at first, but they will break in and soften as they break in. The six-inch size was not available, so I had to settle for the six-inch. There has to be a 5 break in period, and my insoles should also be a half size bigger anyway since I prefer to be able to move my toes freely in the toe box, and this makes the shoe fuller/lack clearance to the toes. Most probably, it will be fine, but it would be nice if black size 6 was available.

There is something hot and itchy about it
3/5

seem to get a break when it comes to For a few minutes, I found the Skechers to be comfortable, which I expected from their reputation for comfort. I would not recommend them if they were just for appearances. The dorky racing stripes look like they belong on a dorky orthotic shoe. This shoe fits well, with plenty of room to spare at the toe. I found that they were kinda loose around the ankle and heel (medium I find the laces to be ridiculously short you don't get more than two inches left after crossing the top. I find that memory foam is more cushy than I would It is all fine for me to overlook the above points. Having returned them, why was I so bothered? It's like wearing an oven in these shoes! In fact, I used to have a pair of 8" Timberlands with Goretex AND Thinsulate, and these low Skechers are warmer. In the box it says this is breathable and this has breathable air That was cool, but I think it's all In addition, the tongue is so long that it becomes an issue. From the photos, it doesn't appear to be that long, but it's at least as long as a scree guard on a mid hiker. The bottom lace loop is the only part that's attached to the bra, so it won't stay centered or flat if attached to the bottom lace loop. Even though the point is soft, it touches and tickles your shin constantly. There is no remedy for it no matter how many times we fiddle with the laces. There was even a mosquito bite on my arm! I tried taller socks! There was a lot of frustration involved. This is another example of companies designing shoes and not testing them on people before production.
