In an animal quarantine facility with multiple chlorine-based footbaths, bleach, and other powerful bacterial eliminating chemicals, I work every day to minimize bacterial contamination. Using these as one of two daily pairs of shoes has been beneficial to me for the last two years I have been living in Europe for three My only problem is that they are not quite as comfortable as other hiking style waterproof boots I have used, but I'm more concerned about their waterproof quality. The waterproof ability of leather boots appears to diminish over time and after exposure to chemicals. As of now, these shoes do not appear to have been worn. It seems that so far they have held up well.

I believe so! These socks have a micro fleece lining that doesn't get too hot but is big enough to accommodate thicker socks. Winter might be the season when I use mine.

Even though the leak is minimal, water is still seeping into the boot two weeks later. I did not submerge myself in the water. For the price they are still good, but I doubt they will last for I will update again in the near.
These boots have been on my wish list since Christmas. I was able to buy them for $50 before Christmas and they jumped up to $100+ after that. I kept my eye out after that and found them on here again for $35, so I couldn't resist. The boots look and feel even better in person. The waterproofing is good, and they are made of very soft leather, the fit is also perfect and true to size. These boots are high quality and worth the money, though it would be nice to get them on sale and save money. This is the best pair of boots you'll find.
