Questions & Answers

What is the maximum depth a person can walk through a puddle ?

The subject is pretty As long as the tongue is positioned correctly, I can be in a stream for about four minutes if you have them laced properly and tightly. It is only 5 inches (just above ankle level) from where I am standing and the water will run off my feet! It's hard to believe these boots are so awesome.

Would these be useful in a barn? Does the shoe offer any protection at all, or is it just soft on the ?

The work boots are not as solid/protective as cowboy boots or work boots, but they should be good for barn work. It is made of leather, as far as I know, so I hope It is OK to step around the horses I think as long as your feet are on the ground!

Can I get these in a wide size?

There is no wide width available on our site, and Palladium does not list a wide width on their site either.

Do you think this would be a good boot to use ?

Even though I have never hiked in them, their tread seems to have good traction. Due to the waterproof nature of these shoes, there isn't much breathability, so you may get sweaty feet.

The best quality! Okay, where do I begin with this one, they make your feet sweat terribly! There is still water getting in, so this isn't waterproof at all! After wearing them for only two months, they started falling apart
3/5

I bought them at the time to wear during the rainy season. I would recommend them now for the price. I could not return mine since the deadline was like a month away anyways, I would not recommend them.

This boot is relatively comfortable, although a little tight, despite being the same size as other pairs of Palladiums
4/5

Still, I got these at a fair price and love my other canvas Palladiums (these being my third pair), so I am content with my purchase. There were 10 of them, so I bought them. Due to the Pampas at 10, the score is 5. I found that 5 was the perfect size. The soles of my feet are a little wider and my arch is higher than the average. I find these ones a little tight around the tops of my feet and the widest part near the toes, if that is what they are called. I'm of the opinion that canvas Palladiums have more stretch and room for the toes to move about when wet, however if they are wet, they won't hold up as well. These boots have a hard toe so it grips my foot and after eight hours on my feet it does hurt. I might still need to break them in more but for now they are a take. The dog - To the outside- Not a work pair, but a snow Other flaws I see on the portrait are the interior of the lips, or whatever it's When you wear your boots tight, there are folds inside the boot where the sides meet the lip. If you wear your boots tightly, these folds rub against both sides of your feet and can be To solve the problem, take a bit of a break or wear thicker socks that don't leave much room for your foot in the boot because the size I purchased is ideal for the looser canvas boots but not for these tight Thus, you should purchase the 1/2 size larger from whatever you normally wear with canvas Palladiums and let us know how it goes. As for the rest of the package, I like the water-proofing feature YES, and the style is nice, and the tread is present if not perfect, and you don't see any swastikas.

The waterproof, AMAZING grip of the tread, and the comfort make these boots great for long days of In search of sturdy, comfortable, waterproof hiking boots for a trip to Scotland, I found these boots to be much better than I The usual size for me is a woman's 9 or 10
5/5

In the men's race, the score was 5, while the women's was 9 and It is very well suited to 5. It has a very good tread and I hiked over a wide variety of terrain in it. It was muddy, gravelly, wet and slippery, with pavement, grass, and Slimy rocks with algae cover were uncomfortable to walk on with these boots. was no need for "breaking in" as they were comfortable right from the start. The only discomfort I had was at the ankle where the material where the tongue connected to the rest of the boot bunched up and caused pressure on my ankle when they were All the way up to the top of the boot, they are completely waterproof The mud was so thick and wet that I walked up and down streambeds for hours without getting wet. Small stones do get caught in the treads on occasion, as in other reviews at the time, but I was able to pop them out without any problem.

There are no shows for those who just look
3/5

Not the seller, but the product is the subject of this review. I was pleased with the quick delivery time and the product delivered as described. Although the product itself does not seem worthwhile, the quality My usage of these boots is limited to rainy days only a few times per month since I am not a heavy user. Still, after months 8 to 9, there was no change. I noticed that nine out of nine of these "waterproof" shoes started leaking water into my feet around the seams where the leather joins the plastic. The boots don't seem to have a visible detachment or rupture, but whenever they get wet, water seeps through inevitably. Considering the nature of waterproof boots, this is already a major My original plan was to use these during the snowy months, but now it's clear they didn't last for even casual rain showers. The boots in this category are for you if you are all about style over quality. In order to get both, you will need to look elsewhere.

Wearing them is a real challenge
3/5

The boots meet expectations when it comes to material quality and aesthetics. As long as you can manage to put them on, they are comfortable enough. While the footbed is narrow, the shaft, counter and heel area are comically thin I have slightly wide feet, but not so wide that I need to force them into the boot for a long time. Wearing shoes three sizes too small is like putting on a pair of shoes too small for your feet. No matter how good your shoe horn is, it won't help. The boots fit well once they were on my feet for a day, the only issue being the fit being a bit tight once they were on, so I decided to make some changes. As a result of cutting the webbing between the tongue and shaft/body, I lost some waterproofing, but I hope to be able to pull the tongue out further and slide my feet in and out more easily over the tongue Despite this, it did not make a significant I knew that I couldn't breathe well in these boots, but I was prepared nonetheless. It would have been better if I had paid more attention to some of the other reviews.

That was the boot I had been It was important for me to find a boot that was basically waterproof, while still providing the same protection and comfort I had from my winter hunting boots
5/5

There's no better fit for the job than these. They are very comfortable and we're that way right out of the box. I have walked through several inches of water and never had an issue. The boots held up well in a few days where I put few miles on them. In addition to being nice and warm, these socks are also have a good gripping sole with aggressive tread, unlike most fancy shoes I looked at, and that was one of the major reasons for my lack of trust in them. It is impossible for me to leave home without them. I would strongly recommend it. Having received recommendations from others, I got my normal size of shoe, and they fit perfectly.

You can keep your feet dry while walking on wet surfaces, but they slip
3/5

You can wear these shoes in rain and snow without worrying about your feet getting wet. While they have good traction on wet, smooth surfaces (such as wet metallic or stone surfaces), they lose it on wet, smooth surfaces. On several occasions, I was close to losing my balance. An integrated slip prevention system should be equipped in a rain boot because I expect it to be much more slippery in wet conditions. The reason I gave these shoes only three stars is because they have a tendency to slip off.

These boots are attractive and narrow
3/5

I found these shoes incredibly uncomfortable because they are quite narrow in the toe. Foot length is pretty normal, or I would say a bit on the thin side. I would characterize them as girl-like. This is a totally good-looking pair of It is a solidly constructed product. Though I was sad to return them, I could not compensate for smooshed toes with nice looking shoes.
