This is a great performance shoe. Prior to the Scarpa Instinct VSR, I did all of my bouldering and sport climbing with the La Sportiva Solutions. These shoes are very similar to the Solution, with the exception that the toe box feels a little tighter and the heel appears to have some room after about 10 minutes of wear. Most of the time, it is not an issue for me with them, but on rare occasions, it may be. They appeal to me because they are bold and provide excellent toe and heel coverage. These shoes also have the added benefit of being extremely attractive. It provides me with a steady stream of compliments. You did an outstanding job, Scarpa. A size of 41 euros, or $8 million in US dollars.

Because my feet are wide and long for my height, I wear a size 8 (street shoes). Because I had to send my Scarpa Instincts VS in for resoling, I began to consider other options. The VSR didn't allow me to go very far since they gave me these. The material is a lot softer than the men's VS I have, and it's a little tight right now because I'm still breaking them in, but I don't think they'll loosen up because the material doesn't stretch. So far, the results have been positive. In fact, he has complete control over how he smears, heels hooks, and sends. The only disadvantage is that the toe hooks are extremely sensitive. That's admirable, but it's also extremely irritating. You'll be able to walk in these shoes because they're thin.

The size 40 I ordered is correct; this shoe is the same size as my beloved Scarpa Boostics 5 (the same size), but the toebox is slightly smaller. After trying on the Scarpa Men's Instinct VS in a size 40 at my local gym, I decided to return them and purchase the Scarpa Men's Instinct VS. Because of my narrow, low-volume foot, the Men's sock seemed to fit better.
The smaller size, on the other hand, was too small, causing the same issue as the larger one.
These are fantastic because they strike a good balance between performance and comfort.
