They're loafers, so you don't have to tie them: ) I went out and purchased two pairs of shoes. The price is reasonable, and the accommodations are extremely comfortable.

I'm only giving them four stars because I'm concerned there's a problem. When I took them out of the white Amazon plastic shipping wrapper, I noticed a yellow sticky with the words "Sellable" written on it on the box. I assumed they'd been returned, so I examined the soles closely and noticed some imbedded dirt or small sticks of some sort, which I dismissed as a minor annoyance. But why was it that they were sent back? I would have put them on and worn them around the house if I hadn't noticed the yellow sticky, never realizing they had been in the possession of someone else. By the way, even during a pandemic that kills millions of people, that doesn't bother me. I'm just curious as to why they were sent back. For my own sanity, I'm going to believe it was because they didn't match the gentleman's slacks and shirt or something. I use the term gentleman loosely because they are a size 14, after all. In any case, let someone know that the yellow sticky doesn't have to come with the shoes now that you've made your decision. This is just my personal opinion.
There's nothing else to say; they're shoes, and they fit perfectly. They're also very comfortable. So far, I've only worn them on a road trip and a couple of quick trips to the store (each about 45 minutes) - They do not irritate or obstruct me. br>br>I prefer to walk around in bare feet or sandals. I only put on shoes if they don't get in the way. I haven't worn my sandals since I bought these (a couple of weeks ago), which is a huge endorsement. br>br>I wanted a simple board-style shoe with a bottom pattern that looked like it would keep my porch and front door from slipping. These were exactly what I needed, at a reasonable price, and they look great and don't slip like I expected.

I like a lot of things about these shoes, as well as a lot of Sketchers' shoe styling, but I wish they used a more durable sole. They'd be great for inside the house, but unless you want to replace them a couple of times a year, they won't get much use outside.

I've only been wearing them for a few weeks, so I can't comment on their long-term durability, but they're extremely comfortable and light. Elastic laces make it easy to put them on without using your hands, and they provide excellent arch support. I usually wear wide fit, but these classic fit jeans are ideal for wearing without socks in the summer. I also got them in a wide fit so I could wear them with socks. I give this a 5 star rating.
