I usually order a size 11 but received a size 10 for these. I ordered a half size down because I won't be wearing socks with these and they'll stretch a little, so order down if you plan to wear them this way.
It's been a few months, and that elastic is still going strong, with no signs of wear. These shoes are fantastic, and my husband adores them.
I had the same problem, and instead of buying an 11 wide, I used the Scechers size chart, which is tailored to each shoe. It will inquire about your "typical" size and make a recommendation based on its understanding of the shoe's construction. As a result, I purchased a size 10 1/2 that fits perfectly and feels great. I put my faith in the size feature, and I hope it works for you as well.

I've done so in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Skechers are a great shoe to buy. These were purchased to replace a nearly-expired pair. in the same way I had a brightly colored pair from DSW that had seen better days. When I compared the prices, Amazon was roughly 20% cheaper than DSW's current price, so I ordered em. They arrived after a few days (thank you, Prime!) Perfect!br>br>The shoes are extremely comfortable, and I anticipate wearing them for at least two or three years. br>br>It's worth noting that I don't work in an environment where I'm on my feet all day. As a 'casual' shoe, I wear these almost exclusively on weekends. br>br>I would strongly advise anyone to use it.
This is the first pair of Skechers that I've ever owned. slip- I tried them on and they were very comfortable, which I wasn't expecting from a slip-on shoe. I absolutely adore how they feel on my feet. I like how easy it is to take them off and on, but the stench, the smell, the stink is one thing that keeps this shoe from earning a five-star rating. Holy cow. This is the worst pair of shoes I've ever owned. I used to get a few bad smellers if I played too many sports in the same pair of shoes when I was younger, but I've never had shoes smell this bad in my adult life. I'm disgusted by myself just sitting at my desk at work. I finally removed the stinky liners and attempted to deodorize the shoes by spraying, soaking, and freezing them. Despite everything, nothing worked. I'll just have to avoid buying these shoes in the future, which is a shame because they're otherwise fantastic.
I went to the Sketcher store at first to check on styles, colors, sizes, and price. I then purchased the shoe online at Amazon because the price was cheaper than through the% However, when I received the same model shoe from Amazon, I was disappointed. The color, construction, and fit were all slightly different from what I had seen at the Sketcher's store. The distinctions between shoes of the same model (e. g. , greenish color tint instead of brownish, and stiffer back heel material) prompted me to return the Amazon shoe and purchase it from the Sketcher's store, despite the higher price. br>br>The Sketchers shoe is an excellent product, and Amazon's return service and pricing were excellent. I'm confident that Amazon had nothing to do with the minor shoe differences, and I'll continue to shop on Amazon in the future.
OVERVIEWbr>These Skechers Avilo loafers are very comfortable, have a good fit, and are a good everyday shoe. On the first purchase, you nailed it. I didn't have to try several times to get the number 11. There are no exchange or return delays if you order a size 5 in the US. That is very kind of you. The ratings are based on how well the shoe performs. Many of the lower and higher ratings were reviewed by me - I'll admit that I'm on the side of the higher scores. br>br>AESTHETICSbr>The fabric color and texture are identical to those shown in the photo, if not better. The term "black" appears to be incorrect - In the photo, it looks more grey to me. This is also true when it comes to receiving it. That's fine by me. The color depicted in the image is an accurate representation. br>br>DURABILITYbr>The elastic keeps the shoe in place well enough for everyday use. For instance, I spent an entire day doing yard work in a moderately grass sloped yard. Trees were pruned, branches were hauled, and we walked up and down dry grassy slopes. I went for a walk on decomposed granite - My shoes did not have any rocks stuck in them. I walked across a semi-circular path. areas of muddy clay with little difficulty The shoe didn't even come close to coming off. br>br>TRAFFICbr>The sole did a good job with traction. I wore them on wet concrete and a wet vinyl floor and didn't slip. I wore them on a bright and sunny snow day - No problems, but I haven't tried them on wet glossy tile yet (I'll let you know if I do). In general, these appear to be simple to operate. br>br>COMFORTbr>For me, a little more arch support would be nice. If you pronate (roll-over) a lot, this is a must-have. You might want to use an insert for added comfort, but I'm not going to be standing on hard surfaces all day, so it doesn't matter to me. I'm still at ease. They're light and don't draw attention to themselves when you're wearing them. They did not experience any slipping, sliding, or flopping on their heels. br>br>CONVENIENCEbr>I like how easy it is to put on the shoes without having to untie and retie them just to go do some quick tasks (like taking out the trash or walking to the mailbox). These have become a staple in my daily routine. br>br>VALUEbr>These are an excellent value. You get a good shoe for the money, and Skechers quality is what you'd expect.
