It's great to be wearing a NatureDry/Outdoor jacket! I just got it.
I was very impressed with the workmanship, materials, and design of the product. *I ordered a large size based on information on Woolly's website, but it did not fit as I anticipated. There is no Athletic cut on this. The shoulder and arm sizes are correct, but the cut doesn't appear to be athletic. It looks like the bottom of the jacket is quite baggy and large. There is no clear way to solve this issue.
On the product page, I read a review from another customer that led me to purchase this jacket. Having a hard time finding clothes that fit the way I need, I was hopeful that this would solve my problem, because it described it as fitting in the shoulders and chest, but too large around the waist. However, it did not. Although it looks and feels great, I find that it runs a little small, as with most clothing these days. It's a nice jacket if you can find your size, but finding the correct one might prove to be a challenge.
I have several sports coats made from merino wool, but none of them are in the same league as this one. As for fit, I wear a 40" chest, and the jacket fits nicely in the body, with just enough room for a light layer in cooler months, however it is oddly short. As seen in the photos, it hits around the hip, which is unusual Often, my sweaters hit slightly lower than this, and my bottom peeked out, so in rainy weather I would end up with a wet sweater bottom while the rest of my body was dry because the jacket concealed my clothing. This thing is cool, but given the price I'm not sure I'll be able to justify it. The shirt arrived with a lot of loose threads on the sleeves that had to be trimmed. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth if the threads are loose.
