The athletic build of my 5'7" and 170 pounds makes me look pretty tall. I find the size S to be good, though the shoulder is a little snug. There is a good chance you will need a M or higher. It would be best to wear a L if I wore a bulky sweater underneath. It's definitely worth checking the buttons if you order one, as some of mine were very loosely sewn on.

Do not wear it too tight or too loose While this coat will layer well, it is already quite warm and would be ideal for moderately cold climates. Its wool/poly blend means there is little give so it's vital to know your measurements in comparison to the sizing chart. For the chest, take your measurement and add two to three inches it should fit okay unless you need it to be a bit more snug. The quality of Overall, it's a good product, but it might need some extra reinforcements in the buttons once it's all put together.
