Questions & Answers
I can't say for sure because I don't have both, but the rustic one appears to be slightly lighter in color when compared to the modern one.
I needed to fit a 6'5" man who is a true size L but also requires longer arms. I ordered an XL and buttoned the jacket's sizing buttons on the sides. This accommodated his longer arms as well as the extra width he didn't require. I hope this information is useful.
It's definitely not a slim fit around the waist, but the sleeves are a little tight.
I can't comment on the fit of XL because I have an XXL, but the sizing chart on the item page is correct for my size.

I don't do much online shopping-- Especially for a 2XL guy like me. Really, you have no idea if it will fit. I purchased this jacket from Amazon and it was absolutely perfect! br>br>Do you recall the early 1980s sherpa jackets? Yes, this gave me the warm and fuzzies. I wanted something similar in high school, purchased a corduroy version in the early 2000s that I outgrew, and now this version, with an 80s vibe, is back! So I was relieved to find something in my size. br>br>It's warm, and it's ideal for shoulder seasons such as a cool Fall, cool Spring, and mild Winter. However, it is currently 20 degrees outside, and I am comfortable entering and exiting vehicles and buildings. If I was going to be outside for an extended period of time, I'd want something warmer. However, you already know how great this is for campfires and being outside in the cooler months. br>br>I really like how it looks on me. I'm not overweight, and the jacket's cut actually draws attention to my upper body; everything else appears to be in proportion. If that's the look you're going for, it's a very masculine jacket that gets a lot of compliments. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase! It was well worth the money. br>br>This is the best online clothing purchase I've ever made.
Ensure that the ying yang is in good working order. The product was delivered in perfect condition and was packaged at the factory. Had not been tried on and tinkered with (in other words, had not been returned by someone). This was a significant advantage. This jacket is tough and durable, just like the Wrangler jeans. The stitching is flawless, and the craftsmanship is impeccable. br>br>When the temperature drops into the 20s, this jacket will keep you warm. I can't think of a single flaw with this lovely jacket. br> I'd tell you if I knew how. You'll enjoy this if you enjoy Wrangler jeans. The fit is perfect; order the size that you normally wear. This jacket is exactly what it says on the tin. This jacket is none less than 100% quality, I'm telling you. The buttons are made of metal and are firmly fastened. This jacket, once again, has no flaws. br>Worth the asking price because the lining inside the jacket is properly installed, with no sagging, sleeves included. It will comfortably fit over a thick flannel winter shirt, which is also machine washable and shrink-free like the jeans.
This is a fantastic coat. It's made of high-quality materials, which is especially important at this price ($59). 99). It's an extremely warm jacket. It appears to be restricted to a small number of people. Depending on the cut, I wear a size L to XL in shirts and jackets. I went with the XL size. It's not too tight, but it's not too loose either. Wearing anything with substance under it would be uncomfortable. Shirts up to heavy flannel would be fine, and the jacket feels a little short on me (5'10", 215 lbs), but the sleeves are fine; I prefer a jacket to hit at hip length. I would order a size larger than your typical tailored fit jacket because this jacket falls just below the belt line. I also ordered the Wrangler Rustic sherpa denim jacket (Truckers jacket) as a cut example. It isn't quite as heavy as this jacket. I got it in a size L, and it's a little big on me, but it's still very comfy. In the end, if you get the right fit on this fairly heavy-weight jacket, you should be very pleased with it. I ordered three different Wrangler denim jackets, two of which were sherpa and one of which was unlinked, and they are all fantastic. My purchases have been a great success for me.
I've also worn unlined trucker jackets, which aren't particularly warm in the winter. I was hooked when I discovered this Wrangler jacket in my size on Amazon, with the option of a fleece or blanket lining. I chose the blanket lining because I prefer a less bulky lining that allows me to wear a sweater underneath, and I also like the corduroy collar and red lining. The jacket showed up on my doorstep a few days later. br>br>Overall, I'm a big fan of this jacket! It's long enough for my arms and body, and the blanket lining keeps me warm without being too bulky, making it ideal for spring and fall. Without a sweater or fleece under the jacket, it isn't warm enough for winter. It's a little big, as other reviewers have pointed out: I have enough torso room to wear a sweater under my jacket comfortably. I read some reviews before purchasing this jacket and noticed that some people complained about the material being too thin. Mine isn't made of the heaviest denim, but the benefit of a lighter denim jacket (which isn't to say it's thin or of poor quality) is that it allows me to move more freely. I used to have a heavy denim trucker jacket that was stiff no matter how much I wore and washed it until the day I wore through the elbows. The lining of the blanket is soft and warm without being bulky or irritating. br>br>My only quibble is that I have to undo the cuff snaps before I can remove the jacket. The cuffs are tight enough that I can't pull my (large) hands out of the sleeves with them snapped. The benefit is that my body heat will be trapped in the cuffs for longer. To be clear, when the cuffs are closed, they are not at all uncomfortable. Also, the inside of the cuffs is lined with corduroy, so you can be fashionable and roll the cuffs once to reveal the corduroy, or simply leave the cuffs down and unsnapped if you prefer a loose wrist fit.
