I am 5'7" tall, weigh 150 pounds, and wear a size 42 regular.
Run a tape measure around your chest at the largest area, or have someone else do it for you, and the number you get is your jacket size; it's usually a good idea to add an inch to that number for a more comfortable fit.
Mine has red and blue stripes and is dark gray.
Is it a 3x or a 4x? Purchase one of each, try it on, and return the one you don't like.
Selected User Reviews For Wrangler Men's Regular Blanket Lined Denim Jacket
This denim jacket is extremely stylish. For the past twenty-five years, I've loved and worn my unlined Wrangler Denim Jacket, and I still do. However, I decided that a warmer version would be more appropriate for cold nights or days. The blanket lining on this jacket was exactly what I was looking for. It's a thick lining with a nice feel to it. It isn't overly bulky, but it adds a significant amount of warmth. The denim jacket has a nice, thick weight to it that cuts the wind well. Furthermore, Wrangler denim ages beautifully and only improves with time. This jacket is one of my favorites. The corduroy in a lighter shade is acceptable. The light corduroy looks a little sharper for wearing out to dinner, if that makes a difference to you. I would have preferred the classic blue denim collar, but if that makes a difference to you, the light corduroy looks a little sharper for wearing out to dinner.
My husband's old denim jacket, which he'd had for years, needed to be replaced. This is not the same brand as the other, but it appears to be the same. This jacket is well-made except for the fact that we had a difficult time undoing the buttons to try it on. Once we were done, I had to clip some of the threads to make things easier for next time; on the top pockets, there is a faint line running across it that you can only see if you look for it. Doesn't detract from the jacket's overall appearance. Husband is very happy with it, and we would buy another one in the future.
The jacket is a perfect fit. The sleeves are just right, not too long or too short, and the chest is a little loose but that's okay. Denim with a lot of substance. This jacket is lined with a genuine blanket. Wrangler also sells a jacket with a "blanket lining," which is simply thin flannel in my opinion. The collar, which is made of a tan corduroy-like material, is the only thing I dislike about it. Just plain blue denim would have sufficed for me. People have complained about the stiffness of the buttons, requiring them to snip the threads in the button holes. The buttons are stiff at first, but they are loosening on their own after a week of use. The jacket is warm enough for temperatures of 30 degrees. If it gets colder, a thicker coat may be required. Overall, I think this jacket is a good buy.
I bought this to replace my old one, which was a large; this one is a 44, and the shoulders aren't as big, and the bottom pockets aren't as deep as my old one. The quality and lining are identical to the previous one; if I could have gotten a 46, I would have, as lined jackets are hard to come by, and inside pockets would be a plus. br>It is a great spring and fall jacket for outside work, which is exactly what I purchased it for. My old one, as you can see in the photo, has seen better days. br>I was delighted to discover this one.
This jacket is absolutely stunning. It's a little heavier than I anticipated, but that's not a deal breaker. It needed to be washed in cold water because it was stiff. Then it was dried on low for 5 minutes before being hung to dry completely. After that, I tumbled dry for ten minutes on low heat. Finally, a soft, comfortable jacket that I know I'll enjoy for years to come.
It's a jacket of exceptional quality. The blanket liner adds extra comfort, but the button fasteners are extremely difficult to open after working each one. It's easy to button after trimming excess threads. I don't care for the color of the collar; I prefer a dark color. Inside, there's enough room for a long-sleeved shirt, and the seams are reinforced. It's a western look at an affordable price.
From freshman to senior year of high school, I wore the same jacket. Even in the winter, when I lived in Upper Michigan, this jacket was perfect. br>With the grey blanket lining and heavy denim, it's exactly what I remember. In the picture, they have a different lining- However, the blanket is grey. br>I'm relieved to have finally found one.
br>br> At first, I was impressed by the quality, but then I noticed these strange lines below where the chest pocket snaps when I looked in the mirror. I think that's where the inside pocket seam ends, based on my observations. If it wasn't stitched down, why are there lines? br>br> I then assumed I had received a defective item because the price was too good to be true. I noticed the same issue on other websites and photos. It has to be a flaw in the manufacturing process or a mistake in the manufacturing process. This item is no longer available on the Wrangler website. br>br>Perhaps the lines will fade in with the rest of the denim. Not likely. br>br>Aside from that, it's of excellent quality, which is disappointing because I'd like a jacket like this.
