Veronica, I ordered an XXL for my husband, who stands 6'1" and weighs 215 pounds. Your husband should be able to wear the XXL, which is a very comfortable and well-made jacket.
It is, without a doubt, Jean material.
If you intend to wear thicker shirts, I recommend going up a size.
On the inside, there isn't a pocket at all. It is, however, lined with flannel. On the outside, there are a few pockets.

My previous one was misplaced. A young man was injured in a car accident, and this policy was used to cover him. Keeping him warm until he could be transported was necessary. He was in desperate need of it more than I was. I have other jackets, but that was my favorite, and this one is just right. It's difficult to come across them. They should be more popular, in my opinion. It's a very attractive jacket.
I'm not much of a sewer, so this was a bit disappointing, but it got me through the winter. I despise what happened to Levis because I used to like their products when I was younger, but then they started making acid-washed garbage fashion jeans, which I despise. I'm just a guy who doesn't give a damn about how my backside looks in his jeans; all I care about is durable denim that keeps me warm. Wrangler is the last of them. Their Rustler collection is also good, but unwashed bootcut jeans are difficult to come by. Somebody needs to stick it out for the rest of us.
I have several Wrangler items, including an unlined denim jacket and a blanket-style jacket. Jeans jacket with lining. These jackets are all made of a nice, heavy denim. They look fantastic, and they fade beautifully and sharply over time. This jacket appealed to me because it was mentioned in several reviews as being extremely warm. Maybe it was as warm as the blanket, I thought, hoping. I decided to give it a try because I usually wear lined jackets for hard work. To begin with, the jacket is fantastic. It has a sharp appearance, and the denim is of Wrangler quality. The flannel lining, however, is a very thin lining that doesn't offer much more than the unlined jacket, which is why I gave it four stars. If you're looking for a warmer model, choose the Wrangler Blanket- Denim Jacket with lining, which is thicker and warmer.
So let me begin by saying that I adore denim jackets because they are relatively inexpensive, long-lasting, light-weight, and warm. I don't wear a jacket until it's around 65 degrees, and I find a jean jacket to be ideal for that temperature range. 40ish, well 40ish to mid to low twenties is too warm for a heavyweight winter coat for me, I easily overheat, and I don't spend long periods outside, so I find this to be the perfect weight to be that in-between layer. It's a good late fall/early winter to late winter/early spring weight and serves well. It's more substantial than a regular unlined denim but not so heavy as to stand up to a Chicago January. I do wish it had an interior pocket, but it isn't enough to detract from its overall quality.
The denim jacket is of excellent quality. I really like how it's lined. Keeps you warm in the coldest weather while remaining light enough to wear in cool weather without becoming overheated. It appears to be of good quality, and the size was just right - There isn't anything too big or too small about it. Extremely long lasting. I'd buy it again without a second thought. Strongly suggested.
Fabric that is 100% natural! I went to all of my local cowboy and western stores, and the salespeople all stare at you, as if they've never seen a lined denim jacket before. I've gone to over a dozen western stores and no one has it; they say they've "never seen one. " I'm not sure why Wrangler isn't selling these in regular stores. Only urban-style western wear is available. This is the kind of thing they used to sell to men. They will shrink when washed and especially when dried, so order one size larger than your shirt size.
Bought as a gift for my father, who had been looking for a flannel-lined denim jacket for years. He bought a flannel-lined Levi's jacket in the 1980s. The jacket in question was designed and manufactured in the United States. He still has it, but it's worn out. That jacket's collar and stitching are both missing. My father and I looked for a flannel-lined denim jacket every winter but couldn't find one. I'm glad I was able to track down this information for him. It's constructed from high-quality denim. The quality of the denim is excellent. It's not the stretchy stuff that comes in new jeans, but the genuine stuff that my father prefers. This jacket has excellent flannel. The jacket does not have an internal pocket, which is the only drawback. That was true of his previous one.
This style of western wear has a standard fit. Large has a good amount of girth and sleeves that are about 1 inch too short. 5 inches. I'm 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, and I don't have a belly. The jacket reaches the top of my pants (which makes me feel a little short). When you raise your arms, it slides up). As is typical of this brand, I'm looking for a x-large piece of clothing. br>In terms of the finish, it's your classic jean color exterior with gold thread and the interior is red and black plaid, reminding me of being out on the farm with my uncle in 1984.
