When my husband discovered this jacket and expressed interest in it, I was skeptical. For months, I'd wanted to get him a Levi's Sherpa jacket, but he's not into brands, so he wanted to prove a point, which he did. This isn't Levi's quality, but it's quite nice, and he followed the size chart, which has already been converted to US sizing. He usually wears a large, so he went with that size. We noticed the tag said XXL when we got it, and we love how the conversion worked out. It appeared that the reviews were correct. It came with a lot of extra stitched patches that he didn't want, so he took them out and is now in love with his jacket. I'm one of them because he now prefers it to sweatshirts!.
It runs a tad small, but it looks better when it's a little snug. I'm 6'5" and well over 200 pounds, but I have a small chest and a 40" waist, so it's a tight fit but one that I can button. Buttons appear to be of low quality. I wish it was a little longer in the arm and set below rather than at my waist. However, it appears to be cool. I'm probably going to get a bike just to make myself look cooler.
There were two details that were overlooked: br>For starters, the inside of the sleeves and the inside of the jacket are not the same. Second, the buttons themselves are emblazoned with the word "Fashion" (which is so ridiculous that I may have to file it off one by one).
Husband is 6'2" and weighs around 215 pounds. Sits at the hips and is a good length. Sherpa is flat and not puffy, so it's better for "in-between" weather than a middle-of-winter coat, but I suppose he intended it to be a "going out" coat anyway.
It fits perfectly, is quite warm, and has a nice style. It's a canvas outer, so it won't keep you dry if it rains. It'll work if you keep it dry.
The size was not accurate, but it was otherwise satisfactory. br>.
Sizing in Asia is similar to what we see in the United States. As a result, go up a size when ordering. For the money, it appears to be of reasonable quality. I'll have to wash it before I put it on, and I'm hoping it won't shrink.
WHY? If the stitching on the back center, side arm, and lower front doesn't bother you, this is an excellent jacket. It took me a long time to unthread those, so I've had to settle for patches. The jacket is exceptionally warm in and of itself.
