Questions & Answers

Is the sherpa lining throughout the jacket (i.e. Is it just on the collar, or is it fluffy?

Except for the quilted sleeves, the jacket is completely lined in Sherpa. It is extremely popular with my husband.

What is the relationship between the sleeves and the rest of the garment? Is there a quilting pattern on them?

The sleeves are quilted, and the body is lined with sherpa. The collar is also quilted.

My height is 5'6" and my weight is 210 pounds. I usually wear a size xl, but I can also fit into a size large. Simply put, I prefer my clothes to be a little looser in the waist. I'm not sure what size jacket to get. ?

I'd also go with the XL in this case. My height is 6'1" and my weight is 192 pounds. I'm 195 pounds and wear a size XL. The general consensus is to go up a size from your current shirt size, which for me is Large.

I understand that the sherpa does not run the length of the arms, but are the arms insulated and not just denim?

Yes, a quilted poly material is used to lightly insulate the arms.

Jackets that are beautiful, thick, well-made, and have a great appearance
4/5

Arms, on the other hand, are far too short. With these jackets, you get the real deal. From the good to the bad to the unlucky, there's a little bit of everything. The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>br>The Pros: br>b br>These jackets are available on Amazon for a fantastic price! The jackets are lovely, well-made, and thick, with sherpa insulation in the torso and ample thick insulation in the arms. The denim washes are consistent throughout the garment and look exactly like the photos you see online; they are simply strong, well-made, and attractive jackets in my opinion. They are my favorite. Nonetheless. br>br> The Drawbacks: br>br> br>Because the arms on these jackets are narrow, they will be too tight if you have any upper arm musculature. This will force you to purchase the next larger size jacket in order to increase arm width (which will still be tight but manageable). The issue now is that the torso of the jacket will be longer and wider. This is a problem because the jacket appears to be excessively large, wide, and long! The Solutions: br>br> br>1) Some people have tried to get around this by purchasing a larger size, washing and drying it to shrink it (because shrinkage occurs primarily in the length of the arms and torso, with a small amount of shrinkage in the width), and then wearing it to stretch out the denim. Remember that it's denim, so it'll stretch a lot like your jeans. However, there's no guarantee it'll shrink enough in all the right places to fit perfectly. 2) You pay a tailor to add extra denim or stretch fabric to the upper arm to make it wider. 3) You go to Sears or a local Levis store and try on a dozen jackets until you find one that fits you perfectly. br>br>4) You purchase a vintage 1970s, 1980s, or 1990s pre-owned car. back then, I had a jacket that was cut larger in the arms. This is the point: br>br> The jacket will fit you if you are tall and slim with slim arms. The jacket will fit people who are overweight and have thin arms. The jacket will fit if you have a keg-like torso and stick-like arms. The Unfortunate: br>br>The Unfortunate: br>br>The Unfortunate: br> br>However, if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, consider The jacket will not fit your arms if you are athletic in any way and have average, medium, or large muscles. period. The shoulders and torso of the jacket will fit, but the arms will not. Isn't there a common thread running through this? My solution is as follows: br>br> br>I tried both the large and the XL, but neither of them fit my arms well and were far too wide and long in the body. (As a result, I had no choice but to return them to Amazon. ) ) Unfortunately, I ended up going to a local retailer (for a lot more money than I would have paid if I had bought it on Amazon), trying on 20 jackets, and getting lucky and finding something I could wear. I also purchased a second one (via ebay) that turned out to be even better because they were made larger and differently back then. br>br>Excellent jackets, but the fit is terrible. All Levis has to do is widen the upper arm by one inch. 5 inches to make up for the additional insulation. This is why there is a sizing issue with Sherpa jackets because the manufacturers use pre-made sizes. existing without a Using insulated denim jackets as the base model, sherpa and arm insulation are added. boom. Jackets that don't fit well.

The jacket is fantastic
5/5

To begin with, let me state that I am a woman. I liked the style of this jacket, but I was concerned that the women's version would be too cropped on me based on reviews, so I decided to try the men's version. I'm a tall, slender woman - 143 pounds and 5'9" tall. This jacket was purchased in a size Medium, which is the size that I normally wear in men's clothing. It's the perfect fit for me, and it falls exactly where I'd like it to - The length of the hips is correct. The sleeves extend a little past my wrists, which surprised me given how long my arms are. However, I prefer my sleeves to be a little longer, so that makes me happy. However, because this is clearly designed for men and I have virtually no upper body musculature, the upper arms are quite roomy. I can see how these jackets might run a little small for men, because even with the extra room for my movement, it's still a very fitted jacket overall. br>br>I can wear it with thicker long-sleeve shirts and thin sweatshirts underneath and still button it up. But don't go overboard. The sherpa lining, on the other hand, keeps this jacket surprisingly warm. A quilted polyamide/polyester lining is included in the sleeves. Although not as warm as the body, it is still quite adequate. The hidden pocket on the inside of the jacket is one of my favorite features - It's just the right size for your phone or wallet. My only criticism is that the front pockets do not have a sherpa lining to keep your hands warm. The snap closure buttons are also a no-no for me. The color I requested was - Denim in Mustard Blue - In person, it's a lovely piece that looks great with dark denim. br>br>Anyway, I think this is a fantastic, warm, and attractive jacket that would be well worth purchasing if you can figure out which size is best for you. I'd recommend starting with the size you normally wear in jackets and going up a size if that doesn't fit; also, consult the Levi's size chart, which appears to be fairly accurate, at least for the size I purchased.

What a wonderful present! I got this as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas, and I figured I'd model it for the review
5/5

He stands 5'8" tall and weighs 180 pounds, with a 36X32 pant size. I ordered the extra large after reading that the arms were small, and I'm glad I did because his arms are quite muscular. This is the same jacket that Urban Outfitters is attempting to sell for three times the price. To give you an idea of my height and weight, I'm 5'7" and 130 pounds, and the jacket I purchased is mustard blue. I think I'll get one for myself because the quality is excellent and the fit is superior to that of women's.

The fit is excellent
5/5

I'm 6'1 165 lbs and this jacket (MEDIUM) is absolutely perfect for me because I have long arms and legs, as you can see in the photo. This is what this style of jacket is supposed to be in terms of length. The purchase was a great success. It was significantly heavier than anticipated, which is a good thing. It should be suitable for temperatures ranging from 50 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature is 55 degrees. If it gets colder, you should invest in a heavier jacket. On the inside, it's just as comfortable and soft.
