The sweatshirt I'm reviewing is the Nautica Men's Basic Crew Neck Fleece Sweatshirt. The sweatshirt was very thin, similar to a thermal shirt. The listing says classic fit, but it fit more like a modern cut. I like the fabric, but it's not great. It is 55% cotton, 45% polyester. As close to all cotton as possible would have been preferable to me. There was excessive boxiness in the shoulders, which made the sweatshirt fit weird. As it hung on the hanger for several hours, though, the tops of the shoulders rose up because of so much extra material. It reminded me of the way shoulders can stretch on heavy shirts if left hanging.
These are softer than they used to be, but still not as heavy as they once were. The old ones came in every color I could think of and two blue ones. The first two I bought were shipped, so I bought two more when they arrived. My two gray hairs have been growing now for quite some time. I used to own the old ones for over ten years, and they were in remarkably decent shape. You don't get much value for your money when you buy Nautica. They cost less to wear than discount store clothes and they take up less trunk space, so they can be kept longer in the trunk. They don't shrink a whole lot and I just washed and dried them in hot water.
It is good in thickness, but the inside sim tailoring is too bulky and touches my arm directly, so it is uncomfortable.
