It's not sterling silver, by any means. It's made of stainless steel, to be precise. Because I'm allergic to nickel, I purchased these in the mistaken belief that they were sterling silver. My ears are irritated to the point of being infected - These are unmistakably stainless steel (a nickel-based metal alloy).
Because I bought the sterling silver earrings, I am unable to respond to that question.
Pull the back of the earring inwards, as if it were a regular earring. Not the kind that you tighten and put on by physically screwing/twisting it on.
As you can see from the earring backs, they're all sterling silver.

I wear the small and medium ones in my second and third holes, respectively, and a different type of stud in my first hole, and I get a lot of compliments. I've had them on for about 6 months. They've been in storage for 8 months and still look brand new. I even take a shower in them.
Because I know my ears are sensitive, and silver is usually non-irritating, I purchased these. I find it irritating. These severely irritated my ear skin after only one day of use, and it took days for it to heal. This is never the case with genuine sterling silver. As a result, I've returned to double-checking my work. Look over the list and see if there's a question that needs to be answered My suspicions were confirmed by the A's and other reviews - The claim that these are sterling silver and hypoallergenic in the description is a complete fabrication. They're made of steel (at least, that's what you can tell when you see them in person) and are not suitable for sensitive ears. br>br>You'll notice that the seller's other reviews and comments contradict this. It's possible that, as with many other products from these types of massive wholesalers on Amazon these days, the actual products and product sourcing are inconsistent. So it'll be a matter of luck whether you get what you paid for. So keep that in mind if you decide to buy these based on the positive feedback. That's exactly what I did, and it messed up my ears and cost me $12. 99 (btw that price point should be a clear indication that they aren't 100% silver. MAYBE it's just the posts, as the page description only mentions silver posts. It's possible that the backs aren't, and that's what's causing the annoyance).
The earrings' posts aren't too long, and the backs aren't too small, which I like. The backs of the earrings do slide, and if you're not careful, you'll lose them. I find that squeezing the backs inward with your finger tips makes them more secure, but I do this with all of my butterfly-back earrings.
I have 5 holes in each ear (3 at the bottom, 2 at the top) and stretched ears, so tunnels and plugs work fine for me, but anything else in the other areas causes me problems. (I have extremely sensitive ears. ) ) As a result, I gave up trying to keep anything in those spots for years and just relied on my plugs. My husband recently bought me a pair of 925 sterling silver hoop/cuffs to try out on one of my cartilage piercings, and they worked perfectly! So I went on the internet and found these, and presto! I have them on all the time and shower in them. So happy! Also, a fantastic price!.
These are fantastic! Excellent quality! They're flat to the ear, which I really like! I barely notice I'm wearing them because they're so light. They're comfortable for me to sleep in. They're sparkly and cute! I'm hoping they stick around. Let's see how things turn out. 2mm is my favorite. If they don't turn out, I'll order more!.
The bezel around the edges of these studs gives them a smooth feel that won't snag on your clothes or curly hair like prong-style studs often do. Earring in the style of I was, however, let down. The 3- There were, of course, a total of six earrings in the pack. I reasoned that having backups would be beneficial if I lost any, but one of the six was a 3 or 4 mm larger than the others, and only two had nice secure posts; The rest had loose posts that would most likely fall off. In comparison to other similar earrings I own, the posts were also a little too long for my taste. So, despite how cute and dainty they are, I'll be discarding the majority of the pack. Quality control should be a higher priority for the seller. Because of the low price, I'm not going to bother returning them; plus, I got one good pair out of the lot.
I bought these because I have four piercings in each ear and wanted a pair of very small false diamond earrings. I bought these as well as a pair without the diamond edging. Having the setting that covers all edges of the diamond eliminates like 80% of its sparkle completely eliminates like 80% of its sparkle completely eliminates like 80% of its sparkle My earring almost appeared to be dirty, but it wasn't; it simply didn't reflect light well. It's not my favorite pair of earrings, but it didn't turn my ear green or cause any other discoloration, which was a plus; the quality is good, but I prefer more sparkle.
After reading so many mixed reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect at first, but I decided to give it a shot. When I get new earrings, I clean them with alcohol, as well as my piercings, and apply neosporin to them. I'm going to do that for the next two days because I have sensitive ears that get itchy and red when the earrings aren't of good quality, but it worked out fine with these earrings. My ears did not become itchy or red, and I slept with them on! I've had them for a while and they're still in good shape, so I'd buy them again, especially because they're cute for my second and third ear piercings.
