Questions & Answers

How does a carbonfiber toe compare with a rubber ?

Steel is not used in their toes, but composites. To get to my workplace, I have to walk through a metal detector. This is not triggered by either of these.

The amount of insulation they have is how much?

It is one of the best pairs of boots I have ever owned! You will be able to keep your feet dry and warm. Waterproof is the word I would use to describe my pair.

Do I have the option of returning them if I don't have them?

They were too big for my hands, so I did it.

It has been almost two years since I purchased these boots
4/5

This pair of boots is very comfortable and well made. Before I purchased these boots, I owned both Dr. Martens and Keen work boots, and they both developed a split in the sole within the first Two reasons led me to look at upgrading these Timberlands, and I have had them for nearly two years 2) I'm 5'8" and have pretty small feet, and these boots are massive on me. They almost look like clown shoes, but I've tolerated that for the last two years because they're so 1) I stand on my feet for eight hours each day, five days a week, and the tread is worn away. would not be a problem, were it not for the fact that Minnesota winter is nearly here. I'd like to have some traction when everything is covered in ice in a couple This would keep me busy for another seven months if March were to roll around. In addition, I do have one very minor complaint about these boots the original insoles stopped being comfortable once they had worn down to about 1% of their original length purchasing it), I bought the same exact anti-virus They were Timberland fatigue replacement insoles and were thinner towards the front of the foot. They weren't quite as comfortable as the originals, either. I would have bought them 100 times if it wasn't for the fact that they are so bulky for my small stature. Having said that, I will be replacing them with Timberland Pro Helix HD 6", which seem like a little bit less bulky but seem to be a better alternative. If I am doing research on a product, I find that reviews from people who have owned it for a while are the most helpful, so I hope this helps someone decide if these boots are the right choice for them.

It has been almost two years since they were last in good shape
5/5

I joined the pipefitting industry two decades ago and have built some of the toughest pipe in the world. As I worked on the transatlantic As I was working on the Alaskan pipeline in Valdez, Alaska, it quickly became clear that the boots I was wearing were not going to last the 18 weeks of work, followed by 2 weeks of rest, and seven 10-hour shifts we were putting in. Those are the boots I found after researching for 8 weeks. (Yes, I'll work 10 hour days seven days a week. ) I ordered them together with two sets of air pillows two weeks after my first rotation started. In addition, these boots were not only able to endure three rotations on the pipeline without even a scratch, but they're still in good shape Although I cannot lie to you and say that you'll want to wear these all the time, the truth is that no boot known to mankind prevents your feet from hurting at the end of a hard day standing on concrete. These boots are the most comfortable pair I have ever owned, and I have no complaints about my feet, which I have with every pair of boots I have had. In addition to working the pipeline, in a combined cycle and coal powered plant, at a paper mill, a nuke plant, and even at Blue Origins, I have donned these boots. Whenever they wear out, there will be no question as to whether or not I'll buy the same damn thing again.

I love how comfortable it is
3/5

These boots fell apart when I tried them on, but they were the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. A walk on clouds. Just too bad they all collapse after a year or two. The second pair of shoes I've purchased. The same goes for you.

There were only 9 weeks left on this pair
3/5

How did the boondock that lasted over six months turn out? Nov. 1st, 2017 marked the arrival of these. Rubber material that was used to make the soles of the shoes has completely rotted away from the heels as of February 8th. It is garbage to use this new material. It's been a while since I wore anything at work, except the boondock, since I bought my first pair back In less than six months, this will be the first time the bottom of the shoe has worn off. I cannot understand a shoe that costs $180 having a life span of 9 weeks. My anger is over the fact that I have to look for another brand of boots now.

The "Anti Fatigue " product does not do what it is advertised to do
3/5

It's very disappointing that these boots don't work. These Timberlands boots are two to four years old and I purchased them at Sears before. As soon as I tried them on, they felt wonderful. There is an "anti-" Using the “fatigue” material made the boots feel like they were walking in The shoes I wear every day would not leave me sore after a full day of work as a maintenance technician. After Sears went out of business, I turned to Amazon to buy a third pair since the first two were well constructed and could handle grease, grease, and grime well. However, I continued to buy the same size as always and insisted on getting the pair with the word "Anti-" on it Fatigue" is printed on the soles (just as in the previous two pairs. From the moment I got the boots from Amazon, they looked and felt the same as the ones I had previously purchased. Then, after about three weeks, I found that my feet hurt after a normal day at work, and they didn't Due to my good memory, I managed to keep the two pairs that I had originally collected. It has come to my attention that on the last two pairs of boots, the "Anti- There was a layer of foam between the insole and base of the fatigue shoe. It was noted in the Amazon reviews that this foam layer was missing, however, the exact “Anti-Slip” pad was still found There is a label stamped on each pair of boots that says, "Fatigue. ". Proof of this is still in one of the three pairs of boots. I called Timberlands customer service to complain and they said that there was not much they could do for me since that's the way they are made now. The bottom line Beware of Amazon customers. There has been a customer loss for Timberlands.

It's A Joke To Have A Warranty! My first pair of Timberland Pro's gave me severe ankle pain, which vanished when I put on any other work boot (I have 4 pairs of Timberlands that I use in different colors and styles)
3/5

I have bought at least 20 pairs of Timberland Pro's during my career. The comfort guarantee convinced me to try these since I get bad pain every time I put them on). Sending them in is costly, and if they find a defect, I will only receive a new pair of glasses. Because of how they are designed, I have to deal with them since I don't like how they work for me. It was a waste of 190 dollars. No matter what the defect is, I am not interested in going that route with those boots because they are too heavy and bulky nevertheless, Timberland doesn't care! Sadly, I have the same feeling as you. I know they are out of business, and I will no longer support or recommend them. It seems that they were not concerned about our comfort in the slightest and the guarantee is of no value at all to them. They could have come up with a solution to make me a happy customer and I would continue to purchase their products.
