Questions & Answers

Does this footwear comply with ASI's steel toe standards?

Yes, I wore them working in a large produce market several times. These boots saved my toes on several occasions.

Is a box included with the items?

A box and a shipping bag or a shipping carton will be used to ship this item.

Is there a steel plate on it?

As you can see, these boots have steel toe caps. In addition, there is a plate that is under the foot to prevent nails from being able to penetrate the flesh. These boots have held up well over the years, and I find that they are worth the price. It kept me from getting a puncture wound on my foot when I stepped on many nails with the plate on. Let me know if you have any questions so that I may answer them. I hope your day is going well.

The shanks look like steel, do they not?

A steel shank is not part of the 26038. Please accept my thanks for doing business with you. It is always appreciated when you place an order. Please don't hesitate to contact us if there is anything else we can do to help. Please note We are a customer service department at Rugged Outfitters

Boots - a great boot once upon a time There has been a significant drop in quality recently
3/5

A moderate use period of less than 8 months has resulted in the boot's total degeneration. Apparently, this is the second pair of 6" Direct Attach steel toe Timberland boots in a row I have had do this to me both within 8 months of moderate use (I work as a research scientist in a hospital No demand from my work environment)

They have again split the sole As opposed to the last time where it was a single boot, this time both boots had cracks in the soles. The degradation of the material leads to the fact that water can easily enter your boots even with slight At this point I would probably be better off in sandals. When I made these boots last for four seasons, they were easy to care for I remember thinking that they would last 5 years before they crumbled. I think Timberland has really failed to deliver on this front or perhaps I was subjected to There is NO way for this to be an acceptable work boot.

These boots are great for working in cold weather! As part of prepping for a class I was taking in December in Pueblo, Colorado, I bought these boots from BestBuy
5/5

Foot wear that meets ANSI, ASTM, and OSHA standards is what I was looking for, and with a non-slip bottom and steel-tipped toe, these are perfect. In the class, we were outside during the cold weather for a decent duration of time and the temperature dipped down into the single digits for a few days. I only wore one pair of socks and never shrank from the This week, I walked through a flooded street in the snow wearing these boots, and they kept my feet dry. While I recognize that they claim to be, I was able to pass a test with them. Even so, I was able to get my feet wet when the water came over the top because the water was too deep. There is no fault on the part of the boots here. Overall, these are great boots. I like the way they look, are warm, and are waterproof. The only thing that remains now is to polish them after they have been hard at work. I found them a bit bigger than a different brand boot I have in the same size, but nevertheless, I am able to wear them.

This is a great pair of firefighter In addition to my full-time job, I also freelance My boots date back ten years and I've been wearing them ever since I became a firefighter
5/5

Every five years, I purchase a new pair of shoes I am currently on my third pair of shoes There are 450 24-hour days in a year The boots will be worn in shifts of one hour per pair. Even after I retired them from working at their constant beating, my first pair of camping shoes continued to hold up for another five years. A pair of these boots will stand the test of time. I like the fact that they're comfortable, they keep my feet dry, they're easy to clean and polish and they're non-slip Bottoms with a nonslip surface won't blacken the floor. My feet have been dropped on countless tools and I've never broken a bone or even received a bruise. There is only one thing I wish for here I would like to get these with zippers on the side so I can take them off more quickly when the tones drop and I My career is not over yet, so I hope these boots are around and of the same quality for the rest of it.

I like them in the beginning, but then they wear out
3/5

My size is an 11 normally, so I ordered a 12 to make sure they would fit. It was difficult to get them to fit on a 5 had to get a 13. The shopping was just for the order, if you need work boots they are not this. I like them in the beginning, but then they wear out. In no time, you find out that it's not a sturdy A rubber cover over some foam junk that wears down fast. Won't stop a nail if you step on it. After you have worn even a small piece off of the sole, your feet will constantly be damp. Someone in the trades will note that the outer layer is about 1/8 inch or less or, as someone in the trades would say, 3 days thick on a roof. In addition to the thin sole, they split very fast. I had them about 3 months when the seam split in half, glued it back together and two months later the tread was so thin, I felt like I was wearing socks when there was any water in the You have about 6 months of life in these if you do any work with yeah, that's also good to know. Even remotely, the remote is not waterproof. As soon as the leather got wet for the first time, I soaked it in mink oil.

It is not true that the boots are This pair of boots is great because I already own a pair that does not have insulation
3/5

As you can see, the advertisement states 400gs of The boots sound perfect, so I order them. Went for a walk in the snow while wearing them. It was still cold in the cold weather in spite of the fact that the socks were Take a look inside the boot and you will see that they are just 200gs of insulation! The service I paid for and expected was not what I got. In the process of reaching out to Amazon or the company.

You can break in the leather properly and let it mold to your feet this way
5/5

They will form to your foot and be very comfortable as long as you buy the correct size. The classic-looking uppers made of leather, cotton, or canvas won't do this, as does a synthetic upper, one with a lot of stitching, or one with smaller panels. My favorite boots are the ones that look the best. It has been three years since I had the old pair, and I have worn them on and off due to forgetting to pack them on work trips and having to buy other boots that have come and gone while the Timberlands have stayed put. My shoes still have life left in them, but the soles are beginning to detach so I'll use them for yard work and keep my feet and back smiling with a new pair to take to It is probably the best value for the money available in these boots. Though I wear Chippewa's for casual boots (they look nicer but are more comfortable than Timberlands), I have not tried more expensive work boots. In the case of a budget of $100, it would be worth your time and effort to spend it on While I receive a $100 boot allowance from work, I was willing to pay an additional $25 out of pocket to obtain these as they were more than worth the price. Don't forget to take care of your feet!.
